As you all may have noticed, Froststar has come for our help! They came many moons ago, because two-legs were destroying their territory! But now, in their new territory, that is happening again. They sought us out for help. We shall help them find a new territory, but for now, Froststar's remaining clan may stay here. They shall help us with patrols and hunting, and we shall help them find a new territory! Also, shortly after Froststar came, she had kits. They are welcome to stay until the kits are strong enough to travel.

*Dreamstar leaped off of the LakeRock, and swatted playfully at Fleck-kit who was chasing her tail. She grabbed his scruff, and moved him away from her, before she went to talk to her old friend, Froststar.*

Blossomkit started to calm down a little. "You're going to kill me, aren't you?" Blossomkit cried.
*Icycurrent's eyes widened at the words of the kit. If he hadn't met Rosepaw, he would have... He sighed, giving no answer.*

Adderpaw! I want you to go train with Brambletalon and Smokepaw. it shall be a fight to the death, as always. Only the strongest apprentices move on. You shall fight those the same age, as other apprentices. in the end, we have lots of apprentices moving on, but you shall never fight another apprentice, older or younger in this clan, unless I need you. Sometimes you may. But not to the death. Go find Brambletalon and Smokepaw.
*Thornstar laughed evilly, and padded to the Nursery, to check the soon to be Apprentices.*

*Brambletalon snarled threateningly at both of them. Then padded to their training hollow.*

Rosepaw unsheathed her claws. "Don't make me do it, Bluegaze. I've never fought, but I always wanted to try." Rosepaw hissed.

Good luck trying to do that. I'll see your every move. And right now, Blossomkit is scared to death, thinking your mate is gonna kill her. She asked him if he was, and he didn't answer.

Snowleaf breathed and tried to push. Her kit was coming. Sorrelheart had called Rowanthorn, Stormflame, Nestpaw, and Rosepaw. After a few spasms, Snowleaf gave birth to only one kit. Stormflame padded towards Sorrelheart.
" Only one kit?!" He whispered. Sorrelheart shot him a glance.
" Starclan chose for her to have one kit, and for us to have one more sibling." Stormflame nodded.
" Well I don't like the kit." Sorrelheart jerked her head.
" How could you say that?! Our own sibling?!" Stormflame shrugged.
" I didn't want Snowleaf to have another kit, I like just the two of us." Sorrelheart began to get angry.
" I don't care, it's not our decision."
" Well I can kill him." Stormflame eyes darkened.
" Stormflame! How could you say that!? Starclan won't allow it." Sorrelheart padded away from Stormflame, thinking why her brother was like this. Rosepaw looked at Snowleaf.
" Snowleaf, what are you going to name your kit?" Snowleaf weakly looked at her orange tom and smiled.
" I will name him Flamingkit, after his fiery pelt, and after Rowanthorn's father, Flamingbirch."
Sorrelheart purred and laid beside her mother. Something didn't feel right to her. She looked towards Stormflame, and saw that he was gone. What is happening to Stormflame? Why is he like this?

Gazestripe padded through the forest, Probably her last outing before she had to be cramped in the nursery for Eternity.
She scented mouse, but it was faint, and Gazestripe didn't follow it. She heard a noise in the distance, but ignored it.
Suddenly she smelled familiar scent, and a large creature camp out of the bushes.
Dog!

*Icycurrent kept backingup silently. BlackClan cats were very silent, as they had to be to kill their prey, or other cats. He then saw and opening behind him. He quickly ran out, but didn't run far.*

Blossomkit looked at her. "What tom?" Blossomkit asked.

ROsepaw shook her head. "NEver mind." Rosepaw purred. SHe picked up Blossomkit and padded back to the border where Bluegaze was. :Be quiet." Rosepaw hissed to Bluegaze through Blossomkit's fur.

The dog snarled and ran for Gazestripe.
Gazestripe snarled in Retaliation and reared up on her Hind legs, swiping the dog backwards.
the dog, bowled her over, sending her rolling into a tree.
GAzestripe got up dazed, but alive. She snarled again.
"Come and Get me!" She yowled.
The dog charged and Grabed her by the scruff, and she banged against the tree. But GAzestripe bit the dogs nose, and the dog howled in pain, and backed off, giving gazestripe time to recover.
Gazestripe got up, again dazed but in tact, and leaped above the dog, ripping it's back to shred and the dog's back stained scarlet.
The dog snarled once before turning around, and Gazestrpe stared triuphantly.
The pain from her neck wound shot up and down her spine.
Dog bites aren't supposed to this bad! I have had them before..
And that was all it took for Gazestripe to collapse.

A Slick light bown she-cat padded lightly through the trees, smelling a lrage group of cats everywhere.
They'll smell my fear scent.... she thought.
Padding around, she smelled Dog, and more than that, blood.
Quickly and Stealthily, she flickered through the territory keeping low untill she was at the spot where the scent was the strongest.
She saw thh source of the blood was coming from a ginger lump of fur, and she gasped.
She went over and examined the cat, and she-cat and she was expecting.
I have to get her out of here, and fast.... she said, dragging her by the scruff.

"No" he snarled, pressing his nose into GAzestripe's fur.

*Dreamstar's ears pricked at the name. She remembered Coal, telling her how he came to be. And she remembered the name Chirp. She got up, and half ran to Coal. She whispered into his ear.*
Coal... this she-cat says her name is Chirp...

Coal pricked her ears at the soud of that name.
"She's gonna be okay" he muttered to himself, talking over to the she-cat, blood on his muzzle.
He narrowed his eyes in Hostility.
"I had a sister named Chirp before" he Growled.
The she-cat didn't flinch.
"And i had three brothers. Though they are dead, and so is my sister." she said, not letting weakness show.
"You look familiar........" he said , memory clouding his gaze.

*Dreamstar looked at Chirp.*
Coal, could this be your.... your sister?
*Dreamstar flinched. She remembered her brothers. Jaykit had died at a young age. She named Jayflight after him. Skyblade... he disappeared. Dreamstar sighed.*

"My sister Died" he growled.
"And my brother Coal Died" the Chirp growled back.
Breezepaw was watching from a distance.
They're about to leap at each-others throats. Breezepaw thought.
Coal sat down in realization.
"So..... you didn't die." he came to conclusion.
"Swift, Frozen, and Heat didn't... I thought you died, because I couldn't find you. And now I have" Chrip said matter-o-factly.
"I did die." Coal growled. Leaning in closer, he growled, "You shouldn't have come here."

*Dreamstar looked at Coal.*

"Well, I came anyways" Chrip growled back.
Coal looked away. "YOu probably cuased this."

A low growl came from Coals throught, and he leaped on Chirp.

"I was sleeping near the camp, and StarClan gave me a dream. But you probably don't care because you believe in the Dark Forest, Icycurrent." Rosepaw meowed. She slapped her tail. Birchkit clawed Smokepaw's flanks deeply. (is it Okay if he kills him now??) he dug his teeth deeper into Smokepaw's neck feeling the blood. His eyes shined with cold fire as the life faded from Smokepaw

Nestpaw ran over to Gazestripe, herbs in his jaws. He began working furiously. "She won't die if I can help it!" he assured Coal

*Rippleblaze nodded, and padded out of the camp with his patrol. Dreamstar turned back to Coal, her eyes glinting with anger.*

GAzestripe weakly lifted her head to see rosepaw, but then Slammed down again as another kit came out, followed by a thin wail.

(Dawn... you said Rose padded into her den.... and Coal isn't unknown.... he joined a few days ago....)
Gazzestripe felt a sharp pain, a crack, then a screech of pain.
She barely heard the voices, her head was swimming.
"She broke one of her ribs!" one cat said, but thier voice sounded far away.

"Wait." Rosepaw meowed, and got raspberry leaves, more cobwebs, and a big stick. She rushed back to Gasestripe. "Hold this in your mouth and bite it when a kit is coming." ROsepaw instructed, and pressed cobwebs on her. She felt around her chest. Something wasn't right.
Barely hearing, Gazestripe tried to bite onto the stick.
Another kit came out, born dead or alive, Gazestripe didin't know.
Am I on my way to starclan? she thought through the pain.

Nestpaw looked at Rosepaw "This birth is going horribly wrong! Chirp, Coal, lick the kits!"
~Nestpaw
"I know!" Rosepaw spat. "BITE HARDER!!" Rosepaw turned to Jayflight. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!" Rosepaw wailed.
Gazestripe tried, barely Conscience.

Coal and Chrip both started licking the three kis, and theree was one more to go.

Rosepaw turned back to Gazestripe. "Push! You can do it!" Rosepaw whispered in Gazestripe's ear.
Nestpaw looked at Gazestripe "Her rib might be broken we need something to brace it or she won't survive this birth!"

With a last effort, she pushed out the last kit.
What she thought was her last breath she took, and then everything went back.

Rosepaw nodded. "Wait here, I'll get the rushes, and some good cobwebs!" Rosepaw meowed, leaving Nestpaw and Jayflight to help Gazestripe.
Nestpaw nodded "Gazestripe! Can yo hear me? Gazestripe!" he mewed

Rosepaw came back with four rushes in her mouth. She pressed her paw where she thought Gazestripe's broken rib was. She felt it, and pressed down two rushes and bound them down with cobwebs, then did the same with the other two rushes.
Nestpaw frantically began to look at her kits are any living?
One small kit walked into the clearing and sat by her mother, and Faced Nestpaw, sadness in her eyes.

Nestpaw looked at Gazestripe "G-azestripe?" he called

Gazestripe woke up in a clearing, with five cats standing over her.
The two closest to her she could recognize, Tawynheart and Gazedawn, but the other three cat she didn't know.
She sat up. "Who are you?" she gazed at the cats.
The one on the end, a Black and white tom with a limp, and GAzestripe looked down he had a deformed paw.
"I'm Swift" He said.
Al three of the kits looked apprentice-size, Grazestripe realized.
She dipped her head and the next cat came up, a Black she-cat with blue eyes that were like the coldest leafbare, and it sent shivers down her Spine.
"I am Frozen" she meowed in a heavy, head voice, and GAzestripe dipped her head.
The third cat that came up remended her of Gazedaw- A ginger cat with Blue sparkling eyes.
"I am Heat." he meowed.
"Hello, Swift., Frozen, and Heat." Gazestripe said.
"How are you guys?" she asked.
"We are... coal's other siblings."
-GAzestripe
"Gazestripe!" Coal yelled, and felt her fur, reasurred she was still breathing.

Nestpaw walked over to the kits. Three alive, one dead. He began to lick the kits

GAzestripe narrowed her eyes.
"Coal told me about you.... and what happened to him." She said.
Swift nodded.
"Keep our brother safe, and when starclan calls, keep open ears." Frozen whispered.
Gazestripe was plunged back into the waking world, gasping for air.
Cats were casting worried glances at her, muttering anxiously.
Coal felt her stirr and raised his head. "Your alive" he gasped breathlessly.
Gazestripe just blinked at him, and looked down at thier two day old kits.
There were three of them, fluffy and mewling.
Wait, only three? Where's my forth kit!?!? she thought.

No I'm still sick... must be imagining it
She looked down at the Kits. Two toms and a she-cat. The bigger tom looked like her, Ginger, and with blue eyes. The she-cat was black with blue eyes, and the last one was..... grey, with shining eyes.
"You name them" She said, lookin up at Coal.
Coal narrowed his eyes in thought.
"The she-cat can be Frozenkit. The Ginger kit will be Heatkit... and the Grey one...." coal said.
"Silentkit." GAzestripe said, and Coal looked at her with Confused eyes.
"Becuase." she said. "He cannot speak." she finished.

Nestpaw nodded "Okay, here is some borage to hel you produce milk," he mewed pushing some toward her
Gazestripe nodded wearily and Ate the herbs.

Coal looked worried, but otherwise happy.

Chirp stood there, motionless.

Nestpaw nodded "Be careful Gazestripe that broken rib will take a long time to heal. I want you, Frozenkit, Heatkit and Silentkit to stay in the medicine cat den until it is healed

Rosepaw rolled her eyes. "She doesn't need to stay in the medicine den. Remember, we're not medicine cats yet. Jayflight makes these decsions, not you! !" Rosepaw hissed.

"Oooohhhh! Can I play? I wanna be Dreamstar!" Blossomkit piped up.

Gazestripe nodded, and put her head down, her cheek pressing on the ground.

Silentkit let out a soundless squeal.

*jayflight looked at Rosepaw.*
Is something wrong Rosepaw? You seem.... different.
*Jayflight shrugged it off.*
Nestpaw was half right. Though, I would only like Gazestripe to stay in the medicine cat's den. Nursing might only make her rib worst. We shall get another queen to nurse Gazestripe's kits while she is recovering. Also, kits in a medicine cat's den, not the best idea.
*Jayflight purred. then turned to Gazetsripe.*
Sorry gazestripe, but if you overheard that.... well, you'll have to stay in the medicine cat den. your kits, for now, shall be nursed by another queen.

Nestpaw looked hurt by Rosepaw's words, "Well, we are supposed to know the basics like that!"

Rosepaw glared. "Does this seem different? Not to me." Rosepaw spat. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to mind my own business."

Blossomkit purred, and waited for Rainingkit to do something, or someone else.

*Jayflight narrowed his eyes. And Dreamstar growled.*
Rosepaw! That is no way to treat your mentor! he has taught you a lot, and has taken on two apprentices! You should be appreciative.
*Dreamstar spoke firmly.*

Rosepaw heard her leader scolding her, but kept walking. She finally turned around and went back. "Well, maybe since I'm such a horrible apprentice he should've just taken on Nestpaw, also known as Mr. Perfect Apprentice, while I'm dirt!" Rosepaw sneered, glaring at Nestpaw.
Nestpaw was taken aback "Rosepaw...your my best friend! Why are you doing this? your just as good s me!"

Breezepaw stared at Rosepaw with round eyes.

"I'm not perfect. I'm not a loyal medicine cat apprentice." Rosepaw took a deep breath. "You are! Dreamstar wanted a commited medicine cat apprentice, like you... not me." Rosepaw burst out, tears forming in her eyes.
Nestpaw looked at Rosepaw, "You are good, you are one of the most skilled medicine cats I've ever seen," he mewed softly

"It's not about medicine." Rosepaw cried.
Chrip looked at Rosepaw, confused.
I wonder what's going on ...

Nestpaw looked down sadly "The only other thing is dedication, and you are!"

"Um... not really." Rosepaw sighed.
Chirp narrowed her eyes in understanding.
"If you question your importance as a medicine cat." Chirp said.
"Why not ask starclan?" she finished.

Rosepaw gulped. "Because I don't need to. I already know the answer."
"I can see your truobled, but for privacies sake, I won't question further." Chrip said wisely.

Rosepaw nodded, tears still streaming down her face.
Nestpaw looked at Rosepaw "Your... not dedicated,"
~Nestpaw
Rosepaw shook her head. "No. I love being a medicine cat, just that one rule..." Rosepaw whispered.
Nestpaw looked back
the rule? the one rule of a medicine cat?
"You love someone," he whispered
Rosepaw slapped her tail over Nestpaw's mouth. "Excuse us for a second." Rosepaw meowed loudly, and pushed Nestpaw into a bush, and she crawled in after him.
Nestpaw, still dazed and surprised just looked at Rosepaw

Chirp looked after Rosepaw and Nestpaw, eyes narrowing.

Silentkit streched opened his eyes, and looked at the moon.

Rosepaw narrowed her eyes. "Maybe I do."
"But...but...who?"

"Someone." Rosepaw meowed, narrowing her eyes even more.
Silentkit waddled over to Strongkit, blinking his fluffy eyes.
He scraped the ground to get her attention.

Strongkit looked at Silentkit "hi!"

Silentkit smiled and Blinked at her.

Rosepaw sighed. "Know the deputy of BlackClan?" Rosepaw asked. " 'Course ya do. Bluegaze and Everlight, don't tell anyone else."
"Um, okay, I won't but, still" he half-smiled "The blackclan deputy?" he purrs and nudges her shoulder "Didn't he try to kill you?"

Rosepaw nodded. "Every night we meet at moonhigh and he gives me updates. Birchkit became an apprentice, Adderpaw. He lost his memory in a fight and now forgot about ever living in LakeClan, and he fights 'til the death." Rosepaw mewed.
"NO! Not Birchkit!" Nestpaw yowls sitting down

*Icycurrent padded into his camp. Prey hanging from his jaws. He saw one other body. Lifeless, and filthy. He sniffed the air. Birchkit had done this... this wasn't good. he needed to tell Rosepaw.*

Rosepaw nodded. "He wouldn't lie to me, but Birchkit may never come back."
Silentkit nodded and looked at the ground.

Coal layed curled up next the GAzestripe.

Chirp looked around.
This place seems, nice, but I think it's time for me to leave...... she thought reluctantly.

Nestpaw growled "He HAS to come back Rosepaw, what would I tell Maplekit, Finchkit and Sparrowkit?"

Strongkit smiled "WAnna join our game?"

Silentkit nodded.
-Silentkit
Rosepaw sighed. "I don't know. I have to go, but I'll see you later." Rosepaw purred, and touched noses with Nestpaw before going towards the border.

Birchkit woke up. She shook his pelt and padded out of his den. He icked out a price of fresh-kill, lay down and began to eat

Nestpaw sighed then quickly caught up with her "Tell him I said hi, and to keep Birchkit from ruining his life too much, please!" he ran back to camp

Silent just blinked, and nodded again.

Strongkit signaled with her tail for Silentkit to follow her

Rosepaw rolled her eyes and padded to the border. She patiently waited, her pale blue eyes glowing.
silentkit Noticed and started following.

Heatkit and frozenkit stretched open thier eyes, and they looked at eachother in Excitment.

*Tumblekit awakoe with a yawn. He got up and stretched. Tumblekit padded out of the nursery and into camp. HE wondered who his father was. No one had told him yet and he wanted to find oput*

Frozenkit looked around for someone to play with. She spotted Tumblekit.
"Hello!" she mewed.

*Cloudykit padded out of the nursery. She padded over to Fallownose*
When can you tell us who our father is!?
*Cloudykit growled in frustration. Fallownose sighed.*
That is not for you to know.
*Cloudykit growled.*
Why!? All the other kits know!
*Fallownose sighed and shook her head.*
FINE! I'll go find out for myself!
*Cloudykit growled, and ran out of the camp. Fallownose chased after her, but it was raining, and the scent was immediately washed away. She ran back into the camp, and ran to Dreamstar*
Dreamstar! Cloudykit ran away!
*Dreamstar got up, and told Rowanthorn to organize a patrol to find Cloudykit*

*Icycurrent ran to the border, he looked back once more to see Thornstar eying him suspiciously, but gave no chase. He saw Rosepaw.*
Rosepaw! I don't think Adderpaw-I-i mean Birchkit will ever come back! He just had another training session, and killed another apprentice.... Adder-I mean Birchkit! Is different now.
