Dreamstar-

Dreamstar woke gasping in pain. She looked around; it was dark out. Dreamstar slowly got up as a spasm ran through her body. She stiffly walked out into the clearing. Light, white fluffs started to drift down. Snow. The air was chilled and the nigth was still. Dreamstar looked around, her breaths coming in grea white puffs. A small spasm rippled through her. Dreamstar walked to the camp entrance to see that Firepelt was standing there. She walked through and nodded to Firepelt. She silenced him with a flick of her tail and walked on.

Dreamstar painfully walked to the river. She looked across to see Ripplestar curled on the other side. Dreamstar sighed an dmurmered under her breath.

"Does he wait for me every night?"

Dreamstar looked at Ripplestar's still form, and let out a quiet mew. Ripplestar's head came up. he looked around until he saw Dreamstar's swollen figure. He lightly leaped across the log and rubbed up against Dreamstar.

"Ripple-ripplestar"Dreamstar spoke chattering through her teeth."I'm-i'm having the kits. Now."

Dreamstar fell to the ground as a spasm ripped through her body. Dreamstar gasped for breath and took in rigid air. Ripplestar's eyes clouded with worry.

"I want-wanted you to be here. I-I couldn't do it without y-"

Dreamstar yowled in pain as a spasm rippled through her.

"Help-help me."

Dreamstar mewed and looked pleadingly up at Ripplestar.

The snow was starting fall more heavy, and the wind started to pick up.

"Don't leave me Ripplestar. Please. Stay here."

Dreamstar whispered so low that it could barely be heard above the howling wind. Ripplestar croutched down low and whispered in her ear.

"Don't worry. I will never leave your side."

Dreamstar sighed and let her eyes flutter closed. But Ripplestar shook her, making sure she stayed awake. Dreamstar's eyes opened and closed, she tried to open her eyes to see Ripplestar, but could barely lift them. Ripplestar lay down beside her. Offering his warmth to her. He could feel the small spasms going through her. Here shivering. He could feel everything. Then Dreamstar stiffened and a massize spasm went through her. She yowled and a kit slipped into the world. Ripplestar quickly strated to lick the kit frantically. But he knew it was useless. it was born still. Ripplestar still placed it beside Dremastar, so it wouldn't get covered in snow.

Dreamstar stiffened as more cold touched her body. She went still and breathed out.

"I'm sorry. This kit was already still."

Dreamstar nodded slowly and let her body go limp in defeat. Ripplestar pushed his head into her side, trying to keep her going.

"Come on Dreamstar. you ghave to keep trying. Please. For me? For the kits?"

Dreamstar stiffened her body, prepared. She winced as another kit came. It was also still. Ripplestar caefully cleaned it and told Dreamstar the news.

Three more kits came, all alive.

"Dreamstar. The last one looks like me. What do you want to name him. The second last is black with white stripes, a she-cat. The third last one is light brown, another she-cat. The two still ones are both toms, one is white with brown spots, and the other is gray."

Dreamstar groaned and went limp in pain.

"The one...that-that looks like you...Fellkit. The black and white...Webkit. The brown...you can name. also the rest."

Dreamstar newed weakly, forcing every word.

"The brown and white, Mudkit. The white and brown, Mistykit, the gray, Shadekit. Do you like it Dreamstar? Mistykit and Shadekit...I hope are happy in StarClan. I'm sorry to say but it doesn't look like Mudkit will make it. Webkit isn't that strong either. But Fellkit is the strongest."

Dreamstar didn't respond. Ripplestar started to become frantic. He knew Dreamstar was sleeping, but sleeping in this weather could lead to death. Ripplestar looked around for a hollow log or tree. Then a small hollowed out tree caught his eye. He cleared out the snow around Dreamstar and brought Shadekit and Mistykit first. Then he brought Fellkit, Mudkit and Webkit. Last he pulled Dreamstar into the log. When he got there and placed Dreamstar down, Fellkit scrambled over. Webkit mewled, but didn't move. He picked up Webkit and placed her beside Dreamstar. He went to pick up Mudkit, but realized that her body was turning cold. He sighed and placed her off,in front of Dreamstar and Ripplestar, with Mistykit and Shadekit.

Ripplestar looked at his two remaining kits, and his love, Dreamstar. He curled around the kits. Trying to keep them alive. Ripplestar stayed awake all night, keeping the entrance to the tree open.

It stopped snowing close to down. He cleared out the entrance one more time, and lay down next to the kits and Dreamstar, paws frozen. he sighed and fell into a deap sleep.

Dreamstar woke to see Ripplestar curled around her and her three-now two- kits. Dreamstar looked at Webkit and Fellkit, and realized that Webkit was also gone. Fellkit slept peacefully beside her aching body. She carefully picked Webkit up and placed her off to the side too. Dreamstar batted Ripplestar lightly, waking him. Ripplestar's eyes shined a dull light at seeing her awake. She saw that he was tired too. then he looked at what use to be two kits, and his faced darkened.

"I'm sorry Dreamstar. Mudkit died when I was moving you all into here. I don't know when webkit died. It's around sun-high. Ctas will be wondering where you- and me- are. I will take you back if you want. Do yuo want me to bury the kits first?"

Dreamstar nodded and wrapped around Fellkit as Ripplestar took out the kits one by one, and buried them. When he came back, Dreamstar was trying to stand. Ripplestar took Fellkit and let Dreamstar lean against him. He guided Dreamstar out and back to her camp.

Once there Dreamstar walked into the entrance, with Ripplestar closely following. Cats eyes him warily, then realized where he was. The clan started to murmur and shot wary glances at the two cats walking in. Then they realized that he was holding a kit.

Dreamstar walked to foot of the Star Rock, too weak to jump up.

"LakeClan.*cough*As you see I have had my kits. I had fi*cough*five kits, but two were born still, and the other two died during the night. Ripplestar was with me the whole time.*cough*I named my surviving kit Fellkit.*cough*I gave birth during a blizzard. As you see, the forest floor is carpeted with snow. I want to see Silverfanf. I may have caught White-cough, and I want to make sure Fellkit is alright."

Dreamstar turned to Ripplestar. He passed her Fellkit, nodded and walked away. Dreamstar then was led away by Silverfang.

Promise

I have promised to tell you what is happening after the gathering. And I will.

But first after the gathering I left suddenly, I was gone all night. I went to the MoonCavw to see what StarClan have to say about what is happening, and if I could still be a leader. They said it was fine. Even though I feel awful, I feel happy too...

Okay! Now for the news...

*breaths in deeply*

I am expecting kits with...Ripplestar.

*Cats started to gasp and murmur to eachother. They looked back and forth at her with unsure eye. Then she heard a familiar voice. Dreamstar looked down to see Soaringheart limping through the crowd, sorrow in his eyes*

How could you! He is a leader too! That is even worse then a normal cat taking a mate outside the clan! But TWO leaders! What about me?*

"Soaringheart whsiepred and lowered his eyes as tears started to cloud his vision*

Soaringheart. I will always love you. But not in the way I loved Cloudriver, and Ripplestar. Cloudriver made me feel different then what you make me feel, same as Ripplestar. I will always love you, but in different ways.

*Dreamstar looked at her clan*

StarClan have said that it is all right! But there is a punishment for me! I am guessing that most of my kits will die. That is my punishment. You now know why I feel horrible! I never wanted this to happen! I tried to avoid it! But StarClan even told me that it was NOT my destiny for this to happen! But it was Ripplestar's destiny! So of course it would happen! I really tried to avaoid it! I am sorry everyone. Espeically Soaringheart and my kits.

*Dreamstar looked over her cln with greif*

But StarClan have spoken and said that I may still lead. So I shall. And does it really matter who the father or mother of the kits are! If they are loyal to their clan isn't that all that matters!

If you want Silverfang and Snowshine can go to the Mooncave and ask StarClan themselves, if you don't trust me! But I don't see why that is needed.

Don't judge me or my kits. We are cats just like you. So don't judge us.

*Dreamstar looked sternly at her clan. Then she looked at Soaringheart, and her eyes softened.*

I'm sorry Soaringheart. I really am. I hope you forgive me.*

*Dreamstar almost whispered, then sighed. With that hse leapt off the StarRock and walked to her den, with murmurs following behind her.*

Dreamstar-Part Six

Dreamstar woke up when the moon was still in the air. Ripplestar was slowly getting up. He looked back at her to see her looking at him.

"You better get back to your clan. I should too. It's my second day as leader and Ihave already dissappeared. I will take you to the border. Maybe even to your camp entrance. Come on."

Dreamstar nodded and slowly got up. She groaned and gasped in pain. Ripplestar's eyes clouded with worry. He helped her out and walked beside her. Dreamstar wanted to say something, but she didn't know what.

"Ripplestar. Why do you see in me?"

Dreamstar stopped and looked at Ripplestar as he turned to face her.

"Dreamstar. You don't know how perfect and beautiful you are. You are very loyal and brave and kind. You're perfect. There's nothing else to say. I've known you since  I was an apprentice. At gatherings we saw each other. Then...my clan left when I was made a warrior. I haven't seen you for so long. Each day I wanted to see you. But Reedstar never wanted to go back. Not after what most of the clans have done to us. But then we had to come back. Two-legs were destroying our territory.
  I was very happy. I was always leading the group, half running, always excited to come back. I had to stop so many times and wait for my clan to catch up. Then it happened again and again. You don't know what I think about you. You're...you're just so beautiful and sweet and kind. What do you see in me?"

Dreamstar sighed. She had guessed he would have asked this back. She looked into his eyes, they were filled with love.

"I see everything. No cat can ever replace Cloudriver, but when I look at you, I see Cloudriver. You are so much like him. Kind, brave, loyal and caring. You aren't afraid to fight, but you also aren't afraid to die. I see everything in you. Same as Cloudriver...and Soaringheart. I love you three with all of my heart. But... Cloudriver is gone, and Soaringheart. I don't know. I still love him. But I think I love you more."

Dreamstar looked down and continued to walk. Ripplestar quickly caught up and walked beside her, their pelts brushing. Dreamstar quickly glanced at Ripplestar to see him staring at Dreamstar, love in his eyes. She looked down again and tried to listen for the river. She wanted to tell him her secret so badly. But if any other cats found out, they would be in trouble.

She sighed as she heard the roaring sound of the river. She lightly leaped across the large log. Ripplestar following. She jumped down and ran through the forest. She heard Ripplestar following closely behind her. She quickly turned around. A playful glint in her eye. She saw Ripplestar trying to skid to a halt. He came rushing towards her. She crouched down, then leaped onto him. She bowled him over then ran away.

She looked behind her to see him a fox-tail length away. His eyes were bright and playful. She kept on running until she ran out of breath. She flopped down on the cool grass, breathing very heavily. Ripplestar came to a halt beside her.

"You okay?"

Dreamstar breathed in.

"Y...ya...I am...fine."

Ripplestar eyed Dreamstar with worry.

"You don't look fine. We better get you back to camp. Walking. Come on."

Ripplestar helped Dreamstar up and they slowly walked back to the entrance of the camp. Dreamstar saw the shadow of Shrewpelt in the entrance. Dreamstar turned to look at Ripplestar. She looked into his eyes to see love and understanding. That was all she needed. She nodded, a promise to see him again soon, and turned around. She walked towards the entrance. She stopped in the entrance and looked back. Ripplestar was sitting, watching her. She smiled and walked into camp.

Shrewpelt looked at her with surprise, then happiness. She walked into her den. Forcing herself not to turn around and run back to Ripplestar. She settled down, in her all to familar cold nest, and fell asleep.

In her dream she saw Ripplestar slowly walking away, then Cloudriver's sad face, and Soaringheart's llving eyes. Too much was happening all at once...

Dreamstar-Part Five

Dreamstar swiftly ran into the clearing. She looked around. Then she saw Ripplestar eating some prey with his deputy, Dovefall. Dreamstar ran over.

"Ripplestar! I need to talk to you in the forest! Will you come?"

Ripplestar's eyes brightned.

"Sure! I will be right there!"

Ripplestar quickly finished taking a bite and ran after Dreamstar. Dovefall stared after Dreamstr with envy.

"Ripplestar. I think it is time for me to go back to my clan. they must be worried... and I need to get back. There's something that is happening to me. Quickly too."

Dreamstar sighed and looked at the ground. She didn't want to leave.

"Also. Stop waiting for me. You hould find a mate in YOUR clan. Dovefall seems to like you a lot."

Dreamstar couldn't look at him while she said these words. She didn't want to say it. But she knew it was true. Ripplestar's cheerful eyes were suddnely filled with sorrow.

"But...but Dreamstar! I don't like Dovefall. I want to wait for you. I need to...."

Dreamstar snapped at him.

"Listen to yourself! You are forgetting that you need a clan to take care of! You are a LEADER now! I am too! Just forget me and go on with yor life!"

When Dreamstar looked at Ripplestar's eyes, she knew what she had said had broke his heart. His eyes were filled with sorrow. Totally blank and sunken. He started to turn around and walk away.

"Wait! Ripplestar! Please! I am sorry! I never meant any of it! Please!"Whispers." I need you. As much as you need me. I wish we could be. But we can't. But please don't be mad at me. Please. I love you too."

Dreamstar looked at Ripplestar. He had stopped. Dreamstar's heart soared as she hoped that he had heard her.

"Ripplestar?"

Dreamstar asked Ripplestar. Ripplestar turned around, his eyes still sunken, but with a glimmer of hope in them.

"Do you really mean that Dreamstar. Do you really mean it?"

Ripplestar's started to pad back towards Dreamstar. Dreamstar eyes sparked with hope and love.

"Yes. Yes I do Ripplestar. But Soaringheart ...we still don't know if he will get better. I'm hoping he will ... but we don't know. I love him Ripplestar. More then anything. He was there when Cloudrive died. I think i will always love him. But I don't know if he will love me after he finds out about me and you...and something else..."

Dreamstar sighed and padded towards a hollow tree. She stepped into it and lied down on the soft moss. Ripplestar following.

"It doesn't matter. I will always be with you. No matter what."

Ripplestar purred and lied down and fell asleep curled up next to her. Dreamstar sighed, knowing that this will only cause problems, but she fell asleep with him anyways...

Dreamstar-Continued-Part Four

Dreamstar slowly stood. She was being careful not to bother her cuts any more then they needed to. She walked into the clearing and sat down just in time to see Ripplebaze walking through the entrance. She started to purr then stopped.

Rippleblaze looked around. Then he quickly bounded over to the tree branches. He jumped up and yowled.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the High Branch for a clan meeting!"

Cats started to pour out of the dens, mewing excitedly. Dreamstar saw Dovefall walk forward and sit under the branches. Cats gathered around and quieted down.

"As you all know! I have just went to the MoonCave to receive my nine lives! I know all of you want to know if StarClan has accepted me and given me my leader name as Ripplestar. StarClan HAS accepted me! I am now the leader of MarschClan! Ripplestar!"

Cats started to cheer Ripplestar's new name. Dreamstar looked at the ground. Then she felt eyes burning into her pelt. She looked up to see Rippleblaz-star staring at her. She looked at him, and hies eyes turned to sorrow. Then Dreamstar realized that her eyes were tearing up. She quickly looked away and walked back into the Medicine Cats den.

Then she heard the cheering stop and excited murmurs broke out, and Ripplestar came into the Medicine Cat's den.

"Hello Ripplestar. Congratulations."

Dreamstar said with sadness brimming her eyes.

"Dreamstar. StarClan gave me my nine lives. Why aren't you happy?"

Dreamstar looked at Ripplestar and sighed.

"I am happy. Really. But now I can't say anything. Now that you're leader."

Ripplestar shook his head, confused and sad, and walked out of the den. Dreamstar sighed. Why couldn't she be happy, like every other cat. She couldn't because of the truth. Someday Ripplestar will find out. Then what will he think. He'd probably be happy. But Dreamstar couldn't be happy for him....

Dreamstar was in a moon-lit forest. She knew she was dreaming, but it didn't feel like it. Dreamtar walked around. Looking to see if she knew this place. The she saw Cloudriver walk towards her.

"Dreamstar? Why are you doing this to yourself? Why are you causing yourself SO much pain. I don't like seeing you in pain!"

Dreamstar sighed and stared at Cloudriver's wise beautiful eyes.

"I never meant for this to happen. I never wanted to cause myself pain."

Cloudriver stared at Dreamstar. Obviously disapproving her words.

"Well you are about to have more pain for this choice of yours. You know that this will go unpunished?" 

Dreamstar knew what he was talking about. But she didn't answer for a while.

"I know. I knew that from the start. I am prepared. Even if it means death. Which i know it does."

Cloudriver's eyes clouded with pain as he realized that she was right.

"Don't worry. Not all will be death. We would never do that. I'm sorry Dreamstar. I truly am. I hate causing you pain, or seeing you in pain. It is horrible to be able to do nothing. I wish I had never died. Why did it have to be me? I wish I was still with you."

Cloudriver walked over to Dreamstar and wrapped himself around her. She breathed in his scent. trying to make sure that it would always be with her. Then he slowly faded. Whispering about death and how he loved her.

Dreamstar woke with a start. Cloudriver's scent still around her. She sighed, remembering what he had said. Death. There was no way to avoid it....

Dreamstar-Continued-Part Three

Dreamstar woke to the sounds of frantic gasps. Her eyes flew open. She tried to look around the six warriors. She saw Reedstar coughing and  trying to get air. Dreamstar pushed past the warriors. They protested but stayed where they were. Dreamstar walked over to Reedstar and lied down beside him and whispered.

"Reedstar. You have been a very brave, and caring leader. You have been leading for a long time. You are on your final life. Your final life is the life that you should enjoy every moment of life, lead your clan for the last time, win battles, and help others. You have done that. You will be welcomed into StarClan. They shall honor your genorosity, and love. Cats for many seasons shall remember what you have done for this clan. Everything. Even the bad times. But the bad times will seem life nothing compared to the good times. You have served this clan. You promised that you would serve this clan, until your last breath. That is what you have done. Let StarClan come and welcome you."

When Dreamstar was finished Reedstar was already gone. Then she heard a whisper in her ear.

"Thank-you Dreamstar. Let StarClan watch over you. For you are a leader of the stars."

Dreamstar bowed her head, as she listened to Reedstar. Then she threw back her head. Accepting every blow that the invisible threat had to offer. None came except a faint hiss, and the prophecy.

"You are being killed by the moment."

Dreamstar smiled. Then walked out of the den. She squinted as the sun broke thrpugh the clouds. She turned around to see warriors following her, holding Reedstar. They set Reedstar in the middle of camp. A she-cat yowled. Dreamstar looked at the she-cat, who must have been Reedstar's mate. The she-cat was followed by two kits, ready to be apprentices. One of the kits looked at Dreamstar, then quickly looked away. She tilted her head. Wondering what was wrong with the kit.

Then she felt it. She gasped as long, curved claws raked down her back. She heard a voice as she felt it.

"You're going to DIE Dreamstar!"

Dreamstar gasped again as she recongized the faint voice. It was Hawkclaw. he had killed Hawkclaw, because he had killed Cloudriver, her first mate. Hawkclaw was a traitor. So he was the one dong this to her. Dreamstar smiled as she remembered his weakness. Forestsky and Soaringheart. Forestsky was Hawkclaw's sister. She had died before her son, Soaringheart, was made a warrior. Hawkclaw had changed when that had happened. He was mean to all cats, except for Soaringheart. She would use this against him.

She looked at the entrance of the camp as Rippleblaze came walking in. he had started to go to the MoonCave, then turned back. Then he went hunting. Now he would be a leader. Dreamstar sighed.

Rippleblaze looked at the cats in the clearing, then at Reedstar. His eyes filled with sorrow. Reedstar was his mentor and leader. Rippleblaze walked over to Reedstar, and put his nose to Reedstar's pelt. Then he looked around, and quickly jumped onto to the leaning branches of a sycamore.

"Reedstar has left us today! That means I am now leader! Tonight I will go and receive my nine lives! But first, I want to appoint a new deputy, just i case.

There are a lot of loyal cats standing in front of me! But only one shall be deputy! Dovefall. You have been a loyal warrior for many moons.You shall be the new deputy of MarshClan!"

Dreamstar watched as cats started to chant Dovesoar's name. Dreamstar bowed her head. Upset. Upset because now the truth can not be told....

Dreamstar-Continued

Dreamstar woke up to pain and yowling. She took a breath and her lungs burned. She gasped as she tried to get air. She looked around to see Featherblaze frantically going through his storage. Then Dreamstar saw Rippleblaze lying on the ground. Blood coming out of a wound on his belly. Then she looked at herself. Blood was slowly coming out of her too.

Dreamstar looked back up to see Featherblaze pressing some herbs and cob wens onto Rippleblaze's belly. Then Featherblaze came to her and did the same. She gasped as the herbs were pressed onto her. Featherblaze glanced at Dreamstar. His eyes wild with fear and pain. Then he quickly ran out of the den. Dreamstar could hear him  yowling.

"I want a lot of warriors to stay with Dreamstar! I want you to surround her! All the time! You can swicth of with other cats after! One set of cats will be here from Sun-high to Moon-high! Then the next from Moon-high to Sn-high! I also want some apprentices to go and collect vines,leaves,thorns. Anything that can be hung from the roof of my den! Something is is hurting Dreamstar but I don't know what! i want 6 warriors now! Then 6 at Moon-high!"

Featherblaze glanced at the clan,before running back into her den. Rippleblaze was starting to stand. The cob-webs falling off and his wound sealed over. Featherblaze's eyes sparked with hope. Then he looked at Dreamstar to see that she was the same. Rippleblaze walked out of the den and called six warriors. Including Ravenflight and Hazelflame. Rippleblaze then walked back into the den,followed by six warriors.

"Dreamstar. Ravenflight,Hazelflame,Stormwing,Flamestorm,Silverblaze,and Fallowear will be guarding you right now.

At Moon-high Sunshadow,Bluefrost,Ashsky,Pineleaf,Bumblefeather,and Thrushtail will be watching you. Soon I will be going to receive my nine lives. I am leaving now. My warriors will take care of you."

As Rippleblaze was walking out four apprentices came rushing in. They quickly put a roof together and found a place low enough to hang it. Then the six warriors surrounded her. Three with there backs to her,and three facing her. Dreamstar sighed as she watched Rippleblaze leave,and warriors blocking her sight from the world. Dreamstar then heard a peircing voice.

"You are being killed by the moment. Killed by spirits and love..."

Dreamstar gasped as she took the prophecy. She knew what it meant. Then she saw black eyes looking at her,again.  She buried her head into her paws. Expecting to feel claws rake across her pelt. But she felt nothing. She opened her eyes to see the warriors fur bristling,feeling her feelings. Dreamstar sighed,and relaxed. Going to sleep and waiting for tomorrow. Waiting to tell the news....

Dreamstar

Dreamstar was walking around the camp. Making sure all cats were fine. Then she started to feel weird so she walked into the forest,to the river. Where she got there,she looked across,half hoping. Her eyes lit when she saw him with two other cats.

He looked over and his eyes lit up to.

"Ravenflight. Hazelflame. Go on. I think I scented something odd. I will be right there."

The two cats nodded. Not noticing Dreamstar,and walked on. The cat that was left lightly lepaed across the fallen log.

"You came! I thought you never would. Why are you here?"

"I told you no. I never knew you would be here. I came because I wanted a drink. Stop waiting and get on with life."

Dreamstar looked at him sternly. Showing him something only he understood.

"Isn't there a small stream running in your camp?"

Dreamstar sighed.

"Yes there is. But I needed some fresh air. Is that a problem for you? And of course the one time i come here,you're here. Rippleblaze this can't happen. And you know that. I am a leader and you are a deputy.Now just stop waiting for me to come!"

Dreamstar snapped at Rippleblaze.

"But...Dreamstar. You know I can't keep on living without you!"

Dreamstar growled as Rippleblaze pleaded.

"I am a leader! Get that into your head! You will also be a leader soon!"

"I know. Reedstar is about to lose his last life. He has Green-Cough. Our medicine cat,Featherblaze,says he will die sometime around Moon-High. That's how weak he his. Maybe around Dawn I will be going to receive my nine lives,and my leader name as Ripplestar."

Dreamstar shook her head. But when she looked back at Rippleblaze she gasped. His eyes were pitch black. She then fell to the ground,writhing in pain. She looked at Rippleblaze. He was yowling,but his eyes were blue again. Dreamstar yowled as a spasm ripped through her. She writhed on the ground. Thrashing and rolling. Rippleblaze ran back across the log and ran after his clanmates. A few moments later Rippleblaze,Ravenflight and Hazelflame came running out of the bushes. Rippleblaze quickly told them what happened,except for the part where he crossed the gorge. Dreamstar gasped as pain stabbed her heart and lungs. She started to see only black. She could still hear and feel what was happening,but she couldn't see. She yowled again as peircing black eyes were in front of her. Those black eyes sent shivers down her spine. Then a paw was raised. Razor sharp claws glinted in those eyes. The paw turned back and forth. Then slahed at the air. Dreamstar's vision came back and she heard a voice. "Eyes are watching. You are in danger. You are being killed,by the moment." Dreamstar yowled then she felt someone grab her scruff and pick her up. Her eyes were looking around franticaly. She saw a steep drop. They were carrying her across the log! She started to thrash as she felt claws rake down her side. She heard a yowl from Rippleblaze as she felt a warmness on her pelt. She winced in pain again as something scraped her nose. She closed her eyes tight,and blacked out. But she still felt something cutting into her...

Dreamstar opened her eyes. her body felt drained and sore. She looked at her legs to see claw marks. She looked around and realized she was in a medicine cat's den. But not LakeClan's. She winced as something stabbed her tail. A cat came running over. The cat looked at Dreamstar's tail to see frsh blood coming out of it.

"Dreamstar. I am Featherblaze. Do you know what is happening? Every time I leave you and come back there is a new cut..."

Featherblaze looked questionaly at Dreamstar. But Dreamstar just shook her head. Featherblaze flicked his tail as a cat walked in. She looked over to see Rippleblaze. But she also gasped. Reedstar was in a nest,skinny and convulsing in coughs.

"Rippleblaze. Stay with her. It seems every time she is left alone she gets hurt."

"Okay Featherblaze."

Rippleblaze lied down beside Dreamstar. His pelt lightly brushing hers. She winced in pain at her cuts. She put her head down and tried to go to sleep...
