[Fifty or more BlackClan cats come through the LakeClan camp entrance.They grab EVERY cat in sight.They then grab Driftpaw,and bite the cats they were holding,then leave.There is NOTHING the clan could do about it.The clan did NOT follow,knowing that they were out numbered.]Also go to the Border Patrol page to see the beginning of how this hapened.I mean BlackClan coming into the camp.

We have a new cat in our clan today.Her name is Runningheart(Runningpaw?].She shall be the medicine cat apprentice.Songpaw if you read this I am sorry,but you never come on.Also Hollyfern you need to come on more.We just had a battle,and cats have not been healed.So Songpaw,you shall train to become a warrior.Also Runningheart do you want to start off as Runningheart or Runningpaw?Also Songpaw's mentor shall be Snowpelt.Snowpelt teach her well.Also Runningheart/paw.I hope you will come on a bit.We need a medicine cat.

Also is Grayclaw really dead?No.But barely alive.When we went to take her body,she was just barely breathing.Blurstar just missed the death blow,to the throat.We did not kill her,because the warrior code says to not kill any cat unless your own life is in danger.Right now she is being cared for by Hollyfern and Songpaw.She will never be able to do any real harm,because she can not move her front paw.She shall stay as prisoner.Once she is feeling well enough,and able to come out of Hollyfern's den,she will go to the elders den.Even though she told Blurstar our news and problems,she can not do anything any more.Once she goes to the elders den,I will get one cat to guard her.Once I trust her enough,she shall have no guards.That is all.Thank-you.

I want a patrol to go out and find Grayclaw.Shinepaw came up with a pretty good plan.We will use but I will change it a little.She said that the best trackers could track her,and then the best fighters could attack her.I do not want to attack her,because she has not really hurt any cat.Well we will attack her,but just enough so then she knows to stay away from LakeClan.If she does not leave,then we will keep her as a prisoner until further notice.I want Soaringheart,Silverfang,Ivythorn and Brackenclaw to go.

Also Shinekit has found out that Grayclaw has been staying in the elder's den.Grayclaw must have rolled in our border to disguise her scent.There is a hole,that is just the rght size for a cat like Grayclaw to squeeze through,that needs to be covered.I want Spottedpath,Snowpelt,and Brackenclaw to fix it.Along with WoodClan stealing our prey,we have Grayclaw stealing it too.I found some bones in there.Keep a look out for her.And I want a cat to go in there every now and then,to see if we can catch her.[There is a hole in the side of the log that was patched up with ferns,leaves,brambles and other plants.]

Wolfsong has just received his warrior name.Right at that moment he hears the ringing he has heard countless times before.Each time he could do nothing but watch as another cat of his clan was killed.The same way his family was killed.The ringing was the sound of death.Wolfsong was a Death Listener.He could hear death before a cat died.The ringing is loudest when the wolf pack comes.That's when he can clearly hear the sound of death.Wolfsong now knows that no matter how hard he tried,he could not save any cats lives,if the ringing started.He runs out of camp,when his clan were still chanting his warrior name.He did not want to see another death of one of his beloved clanmates.He ran blindly through the forest.Not caring if he ran into other clans territory's.He just wanted to escape the sound of death.He ran for a long time.He stopped when the ringing stopped.But then he heard something else.It sounded like a huge animal crashing through the forest.He quickly turned around,ready to run.But when he turned,he regretted it.He came face to face with a huge silvery wolf.He wanted to run,but couldn't.Those black eyes held him in place.He did not want to look at this wolves face for the second time in his life.His muzzle had fresh blood on it,just like last time.

"We meet again,Death Listener..."

Chapter 2-Finding

"Leave!"Wolfsong says finally breaking away from the big wolves stare.

"Why would we do that?This forest is very rich in prey."

"Why!Why are you killing my clan!"

"I am only feeding myself and my pack.Is that not what you do when you kill a mouse,who might or might not have a family of it's own?I am only trying to stay alive."

"Who are you?"

"Well Wolfsong I am Silver.The leader of Nightpack.This is Fang,Cloud,Claw,Storm,Light and Blackness.We have come to this forest when some of our pack members were killed by Death's.[Humans or Two-legs]I would go back to your home.Before I change my mind about never killing you.Leave!"Silver snarls fiercely.

Wolfsong starts running back to his clan.To see who Silver killed this time.When he came to the camp,he did not believe what he saw.Wingstar was on the ground.Obviously losing lives by the second.Wolfsong continued to look around.He saw Heathersky wailing her loss for her last kit alive,Sunkit.Sunkit was going to become an apprentice in half a moon.Then Wolfsong focused his gaze on Smokestorm.His body was crushed.Wolfsong walked up to Smokestorm,one of his closest friends.He saw blood behind Smokestorm.Wolfsong believed that Smokestorm was crushed trying to save Littlepaw.His son.Littlepaw was the only apprentice not there in the clearing alive.Wolfsong also noticed that Flowernight,Soottail and Rainash were not in the clearing.All prey for Nightpack.Then when Wolfsong looked over at Wingstar again,he saw Wingstar jerk once then lay still.He did not move again.Leafriver will be going to riceive his nine lives now.Nightpack went to far this time.Too many cats were dead.Then Wolfsong remembered that one of the pack members looked and smelled weird.Wolfsong was pretty sure it was Light.Then he smelled that same scent behind him.There was Rosepetal standing with her paw raised to attack.She had white foam coming out of her mouth.She also had a crazed look in her eye.She started to bring her paw down on Wolfsong.

"Rosepetal!ST-"

Chapter Three-Worry

Just before Rosepetal could strike Wolfsong,Riverclaw slammed into Rosepetal.Killing her instantly.

"I am sorry StarClan.I had what I had to do.To save a clanmate that would live."Riverclaw hangs his head in shame.

"Th-thank-you Riverclaw.You saved my life."

"No problem.What about Wingstar?We need to bury him.And Wolfsong.Where were you.No one saw you in the camp when the wolves came.Are you a traitor?"Riverclaw asked acussingly.

"I am not a traitor!I ran.I ran because I could not see another cat die.When i know that i can't do anything."Wolfsong whispers.

"Let's go bury Wingstar,and Smokestorm."

"What about Rosepetal?"

"No cat can touch her.We will get some sticks on the way.The river is just right here.We will wash her then bury her.But then cats can not drink out of the river for a few sun-rises."

Wolfsong goes and picks up Wingstar,while Riverclaw picks up Smokestorm.They carry them to the center of the camp,to be honoured.Leafriver gives Wingstar one last lick on the shoulder before he lieaves to receive his nine lives.

That night the clan sleeps beside Wingstar and Smokestorm.Some cats lie by Rosepetal.Moonlily warned them to not go to close to Rosepetal.

The next day the clan waits for Leafriver/star to come back.During the night Wolfsong heard faint ringing.He knows that the wolf pack was hunting.But farther away.The clan believes that Leafriver/star is probably just late.They wait all day long.Then the moon rises and the clan starts to worry.What will they do without a leader or deputy.Then they hear a yowl from Stonefang.He went to look for Leafriver/star.He comes running into camp out of breath.But manages to say four words that could change everything.

"Leaf...blood...hopeless...lives..."

Warrior Code

1: Clan cats should defend their Clan even at the cost of their own life.

2: Clan cats should not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3: Elders, queens, and kits should be fed first in the Clan.

4: Prey should not be killed for sport and StarClan must be thanked for its life.

5: Kits must be six moons old before they can become apprentices and be assigned mentors.

6: New warriors must sit a silent guard over camp and reflect on their new duties.

7: A warrior cannot become deputy without mentoring at least one apprentice.

8: When a Clan leader dies the Clan deputy must take their place as leader.

9: If a Clan deputy dies or retires the Clan leader must appoint a new one before moonhigh that night.

10: Every full moon all the Clans will meet in peace.

11: Clan boundaries are to be checked and marked daily and intruders to be chased off.

12: Warriors should always help a kit in danger even if it belongs to a different Clan.

13: The word of the Clan leader is to be obeyed.

14: Warriors should not kill in battle unless the opponent is outside the warrior code or threatening their life.

15: A true warrior rejects the ways of kittypets and other cats outside the Clan.

16: Medicine cats must not take mates or have kits.

17: Medicine cats must meet every half-moon to speak with StarClan.

18: Warriors must not take mates from other Clans.

"We found her in our territory,on the Lake Rocks.She has KillClan scent."-Brackenclaw

"Is this true?What is your name and why were you on our territory?"-Dreamstar

"[Yowls]Let go of me you furbags!I am not going to kill anyone!"-Mysterious Cat

"Let go of her,Frostpelt,Brackenclaw!Answer my question!"-Dreamstar

"[licks chest fur]My name is Grayclaw.I come from Killclan.I left because I did not like their ways."-Grayclaw

"That is no excuse to be on our territory!You could still be a member of Killclan!You might have been sent here!I want you to leave!Now!"-Dreamstar

"I shall not harm your cats if you let me stay.Please let me stay in your clan for now!"-Grayclaw

History

When I first became an apprentice,I was so excited.Then I was in CrystalClan.I was a half clan cat.Back then all cats despised half clan cats.Now cats accept them.My father is from RiverClan,Watercloud.My mother is from CrystalClan,Moonlily.I loved them both.My mother was so proud of me when I finally got to be an apprentice.My mother thought the leader,Nightstar,would never let me.It took 9 moons.I got to be an apprentice because Nightstar lost his last life.His deputy ,Miststorm,loved me for who I was.She made me an apprentice,and she was my mentor.

As I grew up and learned the way of the warrior code,I became more loyal to the clan that hated me.Miststar helped me.I wanted to prove myself loyal.I wanted to show all of them that I would fight for my clan.The other apprentices made fun of me.Miststar tried to stop that by making them clean the moss,and search the elders for ticks.It didn't work.But Miststar still believed I would make the best warrior in the clan.I proved that she was right when Miststar gave me my warrior name before the older apprentices.My name was Dreamwish.I loved that name,and I was thankful for my mentor.

As I grew stronger and stronger,the clan hated me more and more.They thought that I would use that power against them.I never would have.When I became a warrior, another apprentice did too.His name was Cloudriver.I loved him.He didn't make fun of me.He wanted to do stuff with me.I knew he was my mate.When the rest of the clan(except Miststar)found out,they were not happy.They thought a half clan cat did not deserve a mate.Miststar stuck up for me all the way.Then we had a terrible battle with KillClan.We were fighting for our lives.Then I saw Hawkclaw come up behind Cloudriver,and bite him right on the back of the neck.Hawkclaw was a traitor!I ran after Hawkclaw,before he could run very far.I jumped on his back and sliced open his throat.I had to revenge Cloudriver's death.I watched as Hawkclaw's life slowly faded from him.I went back to camp to find that the battle was finished.I ran over to Cloudriver's still body,and yowled my loss for my only love.I mourned him for a long time.The clan still did not like me because they thought I betrayed them by killing one of the strongest warriors.I did not care.My life was ruined.I could not live in that clan anymore.My mother was dead,my mate,my father,and even my brothers.I was no one anymore.

I told Miststar that I was leaving.She was fine with that.But she would miss me terribly.I would miss her too.But I had to find a new start in life.I left that night.Wandering in and out of other clans territory's.I didn't care,because right now I was a loner.Then I found another warrior who was exiled from his clan for being a half clan cat.His name was Soaringheart.We traveled together.Then about the time of new-leaf(I left last green-leaf)we found a new beginning.

We found the remains of the old LakeClan camp.There were other warriors,and even a medicine cat,who were there.They were all exiles. Like us.The medicine cat,Hollyfern,was having signs about a new leader rising.Her signs were dreams.Soaringheart and I told the cats our names.Hollyfern was amazed by my name.I don't know why.Then she said that I was to be the new leader LakeClan.I didn't believe her until that night when I had a dream.The first leader of LakeClan,Lakestar,came to me and said that I would be leader.I listened to her and went to the Moon Pool the next night.I received my nine lives and became leader of LakeClan.I also found a new mate and friend.Soaringheart.

Hello. Let me welcome you to LakeClan. LakeClan is a clan of bravery, skills and family. We help others and act as one. I am the leader here. My name is Dreamstar. I have broken a lot of rules. Some, more serious then others. I am not proud of that, but I try not to encourage rule breaking. In my clan I try to understand how other cats feel and see their life through my own eyes. I do tolerate rule breaking, but there is a limit. But please refrain yourself from breaking the rules. This clan is peaceful and has good and bad memories. We always make more. Here are the herbs and what they do:

~Alder Bark-used for tooth aches or jaw pain.

~Aloe Vera-Speeds up the healing of topical wounds, relieves heartburn and indigestion, and also works as a laxative if consumed regularly.

~Anise-Gets rid of bad smelling breath.

~Ash Tree-New shoots are to be eaten, and chewed to ward off the effects of a adder. Seeds of the Ash tree may also be consumed to relieve a cramp in ones side.

~Borage Leaves-one of the best things to give to a cat with a fever.

~Broken Rosemary Blossoms-Used to heal eye infection or to cover up wounds around the eyes or eyelids.

~Broom Poultice- a combination of different herbs, used to treat wounds and broken legs.

~Burdock Root-Given to a cat with a rat bite (A root that is chewed up and given to a cat)

~Bistort-used for inside and outside bleeding.

~Cat Nip- Given to a cat with GreenCough or WhiteCough(A a green plant that is chewed up and distributed-it has a flavorful aroma)

~Celandine-Given to a cat with pain in the eyes.

~Chamomile-Given to a cat to help "Calm the Mind" or soothe the stomach(A type of plant that is chewed up and distributed)

~Chervil-the juice of the leaves heals infected wounds, and if you chew the root it helps bellyache (A helpful plant, leaves and root can be chewed up and distributed)

~Colt's foot-used to treat kit cough, Also used to help stimulate breathing.

~Cob Webs-Given to a cat to help stop the bleeding(of a wound etc.)(A wad of cobwebs is pressed onto the wound or cut)

~Comfrey-When chewed into a poultice and applied, can clear up pretty much any skin irritation, including burns, cuts and mosquito bites.

~Crushed Iris Petals-Used to stimulate breathing during the birthing process. This can also be used for kit’s sore throats.

~Crushed Pawpaw Roots-Used for kitten cough, which threatens only kittens.

~Cayenne-used for inside and outside bleeding.

~Daisy Leaves-Given to a cat with joint pain.

~Dock Leaves-lubricant, makes things slippery, also used for joint pains.

~Feverfew-Used to reduce fever, combined with lavender to calm nerves and cure chill.

~Ginger- Good for curing stomach aches.

~Goldenrod-Used to treat wounds and to ease pain.

~Horsetail-Helps prevent infection, and used to soothe and heal infected wounds.

~Juniper Berries-Given to a cat with a bellyache, also used for cough, and to help a cat breath easier.

~Lavender-Combined with feverfew to cure chills.

~Marigold Leaves-Helps heal wounds (also relieves pain)

~Mouse Bile-Given to a cat with ticks~(A wad of moss soaked in mouse bile is distributed to tick infested area, sooner or later the ticks drop off)

~Oak-used for inside bleeding.

~Peathingy Flower Petals-Used to help a kit with kitten cough. Will help to clear clogged throats and nasal passages.

~Parsley-stops the milk flow in cats with kits who died.

~Poppy Seeds-Given to a cat to ease the pain, or help them sleep~(Seeds shaken from a poppy plant and licked up)

~Sage-The roots are used for cracked pads. Use with poppy seeds.

~Snapdragon Seeds-Used to clear up ringworm and to help rid the body of fleas.

~St. Johnswort-used for inside and outside bleeding.

~Tansy-Relieves a cough.

~Thinned Out Heather Down-Used to help with the indigestion of a kit. It will help to line a kit’s stomach, and absorb the juices that produce the uncomfortable feeling.

~Thyme-Given to a cat in a state of shock, helps to cure shock(A useful plant which is chewed up and distributed)

~Water Mint-Used to cure bellyache. Found near marshy land and water.

~Willow Leaves and Bark-Water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be put into the eyes to help clear clouding of vision. It also cures itches.Small amounts of Willow Bark may be eaten as a pain killer. It will also help cure fevers.

~Windflower Shoots-Used for stomach cramps.

~Yarrow-Given to a cat to make them sick~(A certain type of leaf/herb which is chewed up and distributed)

History

This is how I came to be a leader.

I am half riverclan and half crystalclan.I lived half my life in RiverClan,then left because cats doubted my loyalty.Then I found this beautiful lake and knew that was going to be my new home.After I hunted a bit in my new land,I went looking for a camp.I found a very sad sight.I had heard rumors at how one clan,LakeClan,was run out of the forest.I never knew it was true.But I guessed I had found the old LakeClan camp.I found many other cats there.They said they were descendents of the original LakeClan cats.I knew this was where I would make my new start.They had a medicine cat, but no leader.The medicine cat was an exile for having kits.She said that StarClan did not mind, but her clan did.StarClan said it was punishment enough when her mate died in battle,before her kits were born.Her clan killed her kits.Then they exiled her, and that's how she wound up here.She said that she was waiting for a sign about the new leader.She asked me my name,I said Dreamwish.She told me about the dreams she was having.She said they were about dreams.Then she just froze and stared at me.She asked me my name again and I said Dreamwish.She kept on staring at me.Then finally she said,in a very low voice"you are the destined and new leader of LakeClan."I didn't believe her until that night when my dad(Watercloud from riverclan)came to me in a dream(he is in StarClan).He said that this was my destiny.I was to go to the MoonPool and receive my nine lives the next night.I did as he told me to do.The next day I set out to receive my nine lives.It was the most thrilling and hurtful moment of my life.When I came back to the camp, all the cats started calling out my new name."DREAMSTAR!DREAMSTAR! DREAMSTAR!"I felt proud and privledged to be leader of the most loyal clan in the forest.

That is how my life as a leader started.
