"Sear, Flare. It's time."
Flare turned around and ran back to the camp, waiting closely outside the entrance.
I'm here.
Sear nodded then turned around and started to walk back to the camp. The forest quickly went up in flames, though the air was frigid. The only part of the forest not touched by flames was the path that Sear walked on. The deep snow quickly melted in the heat of the flames, and prey scattered from their burrows, trying to find a way out, but there was no way out. The flames created a circle around the entire LakeClan territory. They slowly advanced on the camp, with only one path out, the one Break would soon take. It was like he couldn't feel the heat of the flames as they closed in around him, blocking the path. He looked to the sky, and smiled slightly as he saw a huge pillar of fire reach into the sky. He bounded forward, right through the flames. He could already hear the yowling of cats, and as he followed the path set by Sear the sound grew louder and louder. He snarled and his paws seemed to light on fire as he ran faster, bursting into the camp to find Sear and Flare standing near the entrance, preventing any cat from moving. Flames licked around Break's feet as he stopped and surveyed the mass of shuddering cats. He saw Dreamstar step forward, her eyes glinting. She'd been through so much in her life, she would die protecting her clan.
"What are you doing!? We are your family!"
Break shook his head.
"My family is the Dark Forest. We were made for this. For the destruction of LakeClan. Now, there's no where to run. "
He leaped forward at Dreamstar, but his flaming claws caught in fur before he could reach out. He snarled as he saw a gray and white tom on his claws instead of Dreamstar. The life was slowly bleeding out of him.
"You won't hurt her. Not after everything she's been through."
Break through Spiritsky still body aside and looked back up to see the clan fighting for their lives, but it was hopeless fighting against them. Three cats against 300, an easy win. Break leaped into the battle, a blue of glinting, red eyes.
(Please comment saying which cats you want to keep alive. Any cats not posted underneath in two days, will be proclaimed dead. Have fun RPing too! ^^ )

(Is keeping Frostysky, Nestflame, Birchstorm (maybe), Strong, Sweet, and Feathered. I believe. <3 If I'm missing any majorly important cats, that like, need to live tell me xD I am forgetful)
Sweetpaw ran over to Crowpaw, shaking. "W-whats going on!?" her frail body was shaking "They're our clan... right?"

*Crowpaw backed into a dark corner.*
I-I don't know.
*Then he saw Nestflame moving along the outside of the camp, staying in the shadows. Crowpaw quickly padded over to Nestflame.*
What do we do!?

(Maybe he says bout the little secret 'den' in the back of the med cat den?)
"There's a secret den." Nestflame whispered "In the back of the medicine cat den. You haven't been trained enough to fight in this. Grab your siblings and follow me... try to stay out of sight." he looked around, obviously searching for someone "And bring Ink and Oakpaw too, and any kits... who are still alive." he winced when saying the words.

Sweetpaw swallowed "Featheredpaw." she let out a hoarse whisper.

Featheredpaw ran over to Ink "We gotta find the others!" she gulped, her breathing fast

*Crowpaw nodded and glanced at Sweetpaw, his eyes nervous. He glanced around for other kits or apprentices. He gulped as he saw many bodies already scattered around the clearing.*
W-we'll never find any kits in this. Let's look in the nursery though.
*Crowpaw started to go to the nursery, and he tried to remember stories Strongspirit had told them about their father, Markstar.*

*Ink looked around, and then Oakpaw was at his side.*
Where's Crowpaw and Sweetpaw!? What about Maple and Ridgefeather too!?
*Ink shook his head, then saw a flash of Crowpaw's pelt.*
There! They're going to the nursery!
:~~Ink:
Break raked his claws across a white cat with black paws, Grin, the deputy. Grin staggered and looked up at Break.
"What about Ebonywing? She was your family. You loved her!"
Break's mind stopped for a second, but then he snarled, killing Grin.
:~~Break:
Rippleblaze was by Dreamstar's side in a second.
"So many cats are already dead! What are we going to do! We can't run. We're surrounded by the fire."
Dreamstar looked at Rippleblaze sadly.
"We're all gonna die as warriors. That's what's going to happen. This is the end for LakeClan. Nothing can overcome this, only a miracle. But, let's fight like StarClan warriors."
Rippleblaze licked her cheek sadly and nodded. They then fought side by side, blow for blow, as if they were made with only one body between them.

Freostysky stayed near Falcon, her breath shallow. The only thing she could see was Falcon's brown tabby pelt, they fought together, as they always had. "We'll make it. Falcon whispered, though his face was falling, like the very life was being drained, "Or... you will."

Sear beared down on a young warrior, he knew by the name of Blazedflame "I killed her... you know."
Blazedflame looked up at Sear, his eyes wide, with pain and shock
"what?" he managed to gasp, between the convulsions of pain
"I killed your sister. That worthless she-cat." He flinched, his eyes flickering for a second 'Not-"
Blazedflame shrieked as his body was engulfed in the flames he was named for.

*Crowpaw looked into the nursery. Any queens and kits still left in there were dead. he saw Ink, oakpaw and Featheredpaw coming towards them.*
We gotta go to the medicine cat den. There's no one to save in there.

*Ink looked in, wondering where Maple was.*
:~~Ink:
Grayshadow looked around for Adder. Where was the cat she fell in love with even against all odds. She then spotted the black and white tom fighting against Flare. She gasped, and Adder spotted her, his eyes wide. In his one second of distraction, Flare raked his claws across Adder's throat and chest. Flare leaped away, leaving Adder dying on the ground. Grayshadow ran over.
"Adder! No. Not after everything."
Adder coughed.
"I can't believe you fell for me. You were so perfect.... and I was just didn't want to be in this clan. I caused trouble."
Grayshadow ran her cheek along his.
"I love you Adder, and I don't regret anything. You were and will be the only cat for me."
Adder closed his eyes.
"I'll see you in StarClan."
Grayshadow hung her head and licked his cheek as his body went still.

Shrewpelt was fighting with Jayflight, his younger brother.
"Jayflight! Watch out!"
Jayflight spun around to see Break coming right at him. He yowled then saw Shrewpelt leap in front of him, receiving Break's blow. Shrewpelt wailed in pain.
"Run!"
Jayflight ran away from the scene, still hearing his brothers dying yowl in his head.

Fallownose buried her head in her daughters pelt, Cloudystream.
"Driftstar would've been proud of you. He was your father."
Fallownose had already seen Adder's body, he had been her brother but never associated with her after she took a warrior name. Fallownose lifted her head, and fell to the ground, dead. Flare looked around for another passing cat.

Everlight yowled.
"Bluegaze!"
She couldn't see the blind tom anywhere. She had seen Dayriver's and Arcingsong's death, but she didn't feel any sorrow for her two kits. She soon spotted Shadowedgaze, who, as his name said, could only see black and white, only shadows. The turmoil of battle must be chaotic for him. She ran over to Shadowedgaze, but noticed him stumbling, as a large hole had been ripped into his chest. The young tom collapsed and breathed heavily. Everlight stopped beside him.
"I'm so sorry Shadowedgaze. I should have never treated you the way you did. I only want forgiveness now."
Shadowedgaze looked up to see the black shadow of Everlight. His own mother had abandoned him, yet, he couldn't hold a grudge when he was dying. He nodded, and felt Everlight lick him gently.
"I would have changed things if I could."
Then she padded away silently from the still body of the only kit she felt sad for.

Birchstorm fought visiously, but it was to no avail, his clan was dying.
There was an ear peircing scream and he ran over... Flecked and and Dawningpaw lay still on the ground, their eye's blank. Blossomspirit!" he ran over to his mate, but she was still too. He rubbed his cheek against her's, his heart straining under the grief "I love you. I always will."
With renewed rage, he charged again.

"Owlswoop!" Wrencall cried, running over to her brother, who's green eyes were beginning to dim
"Wrencall... look..." he rasped, but it was too late, his sister's eyes widened, only for a second, then, she fell limp, her face twisted in pain. Owlswoop tried to curl around his dying sister.
"Owlswoop...." a familier voice echoed in his head.
He turned, and saw a gleaming white she-cat, her blue eyes sparkling. "You fought well, brother."
Owlswoop smiled, his pain vanishing in an instant. And murky black crept over his vision.

Sweetpaw nodded, her deep green eyes shining with fear "Everyone is... dead."

Featheredpaw felt her heart drag
"Mom?"
Sweetpaw shook her head "We don't know."

Nestflame rushed over to the apprentices "Do you want to be killed?! Follow me!"
He began to walk when he tripped over a black and white she-cat, limp on the floor "N-no... not..."
Sweetpaw looked at him "What?"
"Nothing." Nestflame shook his head, leading them into the medicine cat den, to the secret passage "You will live in here."

Crowpaw and his kin and friends crept along in the shadows, the roaring fire flickering around the camp. They were quickly at the medicine cat den, and no one was inside except Nestflame. He saw them with no one else, then nodded. He quickly opened the secret entrance, letting them in.
"You'll know when the battle stops. Hopefully, they won't find you in here. Carry on the LakeClan name."
Crowpaw stared at nestflame and closed his eyes as the secret den was covered back up and it was covered in darkness.

Dreamstar yowled as she saw Fellwave being thrown to the ground, dead. Rippleblaze pushed her head into a different direction.
"He's in a better place now, with StarClan."
She nodded, but her vision seemed to be only filled with her family dying around her.

Hollyfeather searched desperately for Dawnfrost, but came face to face with Break. She closed her eyes and felt only darkness.

Bladedflame snarled and fought for Wakesong's and his lives. Wakesong lay on the ground, blood pooling around her. Break, Sear and Flare seemed to be everywhere at once, and he turned around to see Wakesong's breathing slowing down. he curled up next to his sister, his wounds too deep to heal. He felt her pelt get cold, and his wounds felt like they were on fire, then he too went still.

Markstar watched from StarClan as his family joined him among the stars. Silhouetegaze, Blazedflame, Wake, Covepaw, and now Bladedflame and Wakesong sat beside him. he sighed sadly.
:~~Markstar:
Frostysky fought back to back with Falcon, striking out... so many were dead... she knew she was too "I-i love you."
"I love you. And our kits... they're safe now."
"I-i know."

Sweetpaw quivered, shrinkign against the wall "It's d-dark. I'm hungry." she cried "I-i want mommy."

*Crowpaw pressed against Sweetpaw.*
We have to be quiet. We have to survive.

Fleckrain searched desperately for his family. He had seen Larkflight and Blazingsky be killed beside him, and now looked for Rainingblaze. He yowled to Coastpebble as Break reared up behind her, but it was too late. Her neck was broken in a split second. he looked away quickly.

Stillecho breathed lightly, and looked around for Silentecho. She spotted him fighting.
"I love you. I wish you could've seen it."
She whispered to no one but herself, then let out her last breath.

"I love you..." Falcon's words echoed in her head, she now stood over his still body, tears rollign down her eyes. He had jumped in front of her, just as Sear had bared down on her...
"I love you too." she whispered

Rainingblaze licked Fleckrain's head. His brother had died while running to him, and now Rainingblaze felt his life slipping away. He looked up to see Dreamstar staring at them in horror. He smiled quietly at his mother, and closed his eyes.

Dreamstar looked around. Everyone from her family seemed to be dead. Eagleheart, her old best friend had died in front of her, and also Prairefall. Who was left?

"Not the kits..." a she-cat he didn't recognize sobbed "Not you!!"
Falcon heard her cry as though far away, he tried to sink into the darkness, to make the pain go away.
Why aren't I in StarClan? he shouted into the darkness, but there was no answer. He could feel the warm trickle of blood down his neck, frantic crying. A low, calm voice was soon close to him, he could feel warm breath on his neck.
Suddenly, the pain was worse, like the wound was being opened again "Falcon... please, stay with me." the she-cat said again, this time closer
"Keep breathing." a tom's voice added.

Sear had let his guard down... just one second. The way the she-cat's face had looked when he was killing her mate had reminded him of Silhouettegaze, for a fraction of a second. He had missed. It was a rookie mistake ever getting invovled with that she-cat! Look what she'd made him do. He missed a target.
Attempting to redeem himself, he killed cats even faster, making sure their deaths were excruciatingly painful.
My brothers needn't know about it. He's probably dead by now anyway. Small chance he could have lived... right?

Finchpeak raised her head weakly, looking for Birchstorm or anyone. She croaked quietly, her voice merely a whisper.
"Birchstorm?"
She then saw a white tom standing over her.
"Bluegaze..."
Bluegaze shook his head and grabbed his scruff gently. He remembered when him and Nestflame had found her and her siblings during the land shake. He dragged her to the medicine cat den. He uncovered the secret den and heard paws shuffling inside.
"It's okay. It's only me. Finchpeak is badly hurt. I don't know if she'll make it, but, she doesn't need to die in that wreckage."
He pressed his nose into her pelt then left careful to not be seen leaving.
:~~Bluegaze/Finchpeak:
Wanderstep had been crouching beside Blazedflame's body, now, it felt like she could barely breathe. She had been attacked unaware. She saw her body below her, and gasped when she saw Markstar standing next to her.
"You fought well. But now... it's time to join our family again."
She pressed her head against his shoulder.
"What about Strongspirit... will she?"
Markstar shook his head.
"I'm not sure. I only hope not. Hopefully your younger siblings are safe too. They're hidden, so... hopefully."
She nodded and followed Markstar wot StarClan.
:~~Markstar/Wanderstep:
Jayflight limped to Dreamstar.
"I-i'm sorry."
She pressed her head against his.
"I wish I could see you all win."
She sighed and shook her head.
"We won't win Jayflight. This is a hopeless fight, but we were raised to fight for our family, so we'll continue to do that."
Jayflight collapsed to the ground slightly.
"If you see Nestflame again, tell him he was a great medicine cat."
Then the tom's eyes closed and he went still.

Sweetpaw looked at Finchpeak, who she could barely see through the dark "The cats... are dying..." she sobbed "What about our brothers and sisters... they're fighting out there! What if..." she didn't dare speak above a whisper

Throwing a dead cat aside, Sear looked into the medicine cat den. "Hello?"

Crowpaw slapped and gave her a stern look.
:~~Crowpaw:
Everlight looked around for Break. But she didn't need to look long. Break turned to face her, and they stared at each other for what seemed like hours. She had always felt something was off with this tom, and now she knew why. The dark forest created him just as StarClan had created her. She narrowed her eyes and leaped at Break. He snarled and slashed out. She knocked him backwards and he growled.
"Get away from my home!"
Break snarled and backed away.
"I am doing my job, just as you did yours!"
Then, Break leaped. Bluegaze seemed to see his life flash before him. Suddenly, he could see the battleground, but only two cats stood out. Everlight crouched low to the ground, and Break was leaping towards her. Bluegaze yowled. He had seen this before, when Everlight was almost killed once before. But this time, Bluegaze was too late. He watched in terror as Break's claws raked across her back. Break landed, and looked back before continuing on to the next cat.
"Everlight!"
He ran towards the pretty she-cat who lay dying on the ground.
"No... no..."
She looked up at Bluegaze, but couldn't see his face. Bluegaze gasped as he realized Everlight had blue eyes, his eyes.
"Ever Sky..."
He shook his head and pressed his muzzle into her cheek.
"Use them well Bluegaze. That is my last gift to you."
His eyes widened.
"What!? How-"
Everlight only shook her head sadly.
"I... I love you Bluegaze. If you ever don't want the eyes, just think of me and they'll be gone. But, as long as you don't think of me, they're yours."
She licked his face then laid her head on the ground. Bluegaze stared at her as her breathing soon stopped.

*Crowpaw slapped his tail against her mouth and gave her a stern look**

Sweetpaw's eyes were watery, but she remained silent, pressing against her brother
