"We have great news! Strongspirit has given birth to five healthy kits! Their names are, Blazedkit, Silhouettekit, Shatteredkit, Covekit and Wanderkit!"
The clan cheered happily, and Markstar saw Bladedpaw glaring up at him, before stalking off. Markstar sighed, his happiness fading away by Bladedpaw's reaction. Markstar nodded.
"That is all for now. There shall be some ceremonies later!"
He leaped off of the LakeRock and padded to the Nursery where Strongspirit had been moved.

*Fallenwing smiled at the mention of new kits. LakeClan was growing stronger and stronger. Fallenwing looked for Rainingblaze in the crowd. *

Blazedkit blinked open new eyes. He blinked a few times things coming into foucos. He squeaked sittling up, his ginger tail wrapped neatly around his paws. He gazed around camp in wonder

Orangestem padded to where Strongspirit was lying with her brand new kits. "Congratulations Strongspirit. They are beautiful."

Swallowfeather let out a mrrow of happiness. New kits were always a good sign. It showed that LakeClan was still strong and healthy.
Then she thought of how much she wanted kits of her own. But she pushed the thought away and scolded herself.
"You have no time for kits anyway!" she told herself.

Strongspirit smiled "Thanks Orangestem," she licked Blazedkit's head, he was still sitting up, staring intently at something

*Wanderkit blinked open her eyes and squinted, immediately closed her eyes again. She whimpered.*

*Covekit opened one eye, and only opened one eye, his face full of caution.*

*Markstar looked at Strongspirit, and shook his head.*

Strongspirit nodded "Alright," she said slowly still a little suspicious.

Blazedkit looked over at Wanderkit "What's wrong?" he asked

Silhouettekit kept her eyes closed, curling into a tight ball

*Wanderkit opened her eyes a tiny crack and looked at Blazedkit.*

*Her shrill voice came as a soft murmur.*

If I keep my eyes closed, there will be no brightness.

If StarClan wanted you to not see light, they would have made you blind. But you were meant to see light, so you should.

This made Silhouettekit open her eyes too, she and Blazedkit gazed at their father "Yea... what is StarClan?"

StarClan are our warrior ancestors. The cats who have passed away. They watch over us from StarClan, and help us through hard times. Though, sometimes they are not able to help, but we must still have faith they are there.
*Markstar looked at Strongspirit.*

Also, just so you kits know... We have a clan beside us. Their name is BlackClan. Their territory is barren and empty, but they are very strong and powerful. They kill without mercy, and their leader, Fierystar, wants to... Uhh. I'll tell you when you're older. Just so you know if you hear anything about BlackClan ever...
*Markstar nodded, then padded away.*
