Then Everlight shook her head, and her eyes came alive again. Dreamstar narrowed her eyes, but started to listen to Fellwave's excited chatter.*

Sorrelheart shared the excitement with Stormflame and Fellwave. She was finally a warrior! "I'm a warrior! I can help my clan more then ever now"! Sorrelheart thought. Snowleaf and Rowanthorn congratulated their kits and couldn't wait until Snowleaf's second litter was born (Snowleaf's expecting).
Sorrelheart saw that Rosepaw didn't cheer for her and made her feel like something was wrong with her friend...
*Finchkit purred and pushed Maplekit off.*

Frostypaw ran up to Fellwave "Congrats!" she mewed i cant wait till IM a warrior
In all the excitement Frostypa managed to slip away. She ran to the meeting spot and purred when she saw Falcon sleeping. She crept up behind him and pt her tail lightly on his shoulder. Falcon jumped and looked around at her. He purred "that teaches me!" he muttered but licked her shoulder anyway. "why are ou so excited?" he asked
Frostypaw shook her head, "Sorry we just had warrior ceremnies and everyne is happy!" she purred. Falcon nodded and purred. He sighed sadly "I wish I could be with you all the time, your Clanmates dont know how lucky they are. Frostypaw purred but sighed "I have to g hunt, bye!" she mewed and ran into the forest catching a VERY over weight mouse, a healthy looking squirrel, two voles and two fish. SHe purred and walked happily into camp the prey swinging from her jaws

Rosepaw started to walk away. Her eyes were still blank, and she wasn't looking where she was going. She started to walk towards a birch...Rosepaw walked straight into a tree. "Ow!" Rosepaw exclaimed. The fire in her eyes came back. "Where's Icycurrent? I need to talk to him..." Rosepaw muttered to herself so that no one could hear.
"Maybe we should catch prey for the Clan!" Maplekit purred

Sorrelheart overheard the conversation between the kits and laughed because she thought that was so cute.
*Finchkit bounded after Maplekit, and saw Sparrowkit run in front of her. She ran faster, and soon found herself in the forest.*

Blossomkit came out. Her blue eyes were wide with excitement. She smelt other kits, so she followed their scent out of the camp.
Sorrelheart and Leafosng began to scent Rosepaw.

Birchkit is now a prisoner, and don't tell anyone what I told you. We are going to see Dreamstar now, okay?" Rosepaw meowed.

"I was searching for herbs near the BlackClan border, and I heard Blossomkit and Birchkit calling for me and it turned out they were trying to hunt to make you think they were ready for apprenticehood and I think they thought it was the Mooncave because they scented me and I tried to tell Birchkit it wasn't and that it was BlackClan terriotory but he wouldn't believe me and he said he wouldn't leave until he saw the Mooncave and then Thornstar and Icycurrent came on a patrol and I hid but Birchkit wouldn't hide and THornstar took him hostage....." Rosepaw meowed.
*Dreamstar's eyes widened.*
Oh.... we'll have to send out a patrol right away!
*Dreamstar growled, wishing she could go. her eyes flashed to her stomach, and she sighed*

"Okay! I'm going to go back and look for anything else on our side of the border!" Rosepaw meowed. She ran to the border and saw Icycurrent's pelt coming.

(.... *looks shocked* NO. All the kits are apprenticed at 3 moons, and they kill all kits who are SOFT. Who don't act tough and mean. :( I know, sad. The queens bring the "soft" kits to Thornstar, and he kills them. :( So not kits would be soft, and fall in love.)
*Icycurrent saw Rosepaw, and ran to her. His orange tabby pelt bristling, and his icy blue eyes flashing.*
Thornstar is taking the kit back to our camp! Birchkit still seems young, so if Thornstar finds he's tough enough, like, not soft, he'll train him as a BlackClan apprentice. If Brichkit is "soft" Thornstar will KILL him!

"What??? He can't! I need to come, please let me! Dreamstar is organizing a patrol to bring him back, and I don't want anyone to get hurt, especially not my brother or you!" Rosepaw exclaimed. She started to rub a pine that smelled like BlackClan that would diguise her scent.

There are a lot of cats in our clan. We have several different camps. The camp Birchkit is going to is our largest and main camp! Thornstar recognizes everyone who goes in, and comes out! I don't want you to get hurt... Thornstar knows that Rosepaw and Nestpaw are medicine cats, and he recognizes you.

It's sealed tightly. Even if you were to get in, there are a dozen queens in there all the time. Thornstar makes sure of that. When one queen leaves the nursery, another joins. How old is Birchkit?

*A queen grabbed Birchkit roughly and padded out of the nursery, and to Thornstar's den. She dropped Birchkit, and padded out. Thornstar stepped out of the shadow's, his muscles rippling under his fur. He circled around Birchkit.*

No! This isn't good... he's going to be tested... he's going to be made an apprentice if he passes. And if eh does, then he'll fight older apprentices, to the death... or almost. If the younger kit almost kills the older kit, then they end it. But if the new apprentice isn't strong enough, they let the older apprentice kill it! But first, he has to go through Thornstar's test... to see if he's worthy to become an apprentice or not...

"Birchkit," Birchkit mewed a low growl rumbling in his throat

He stood on the edge of the thunderpath, were four kits were huddled together, trembling.
"Coal! I don't want to go on the Thunderpath, it's s-scary!" Chirp stammered.
"Can't we go the other way, it's easyier!" Swift suggested.
"We can't." Coal growled. "Remeber there are bears in that forest." he warned, and watched as Swift's eyes filled wiht terror.
They had to go across the Thunderpath to get out of Twolegplace, or risk getting eaten by a bear.
At least if you get hit by a monster its less pain..... he thought.
he saw a gap, and picked up Chrip my the Scruf, Frozen and heat sticking closebehind, but swift, with his deformed foot, was lagging behind, and Coal set Chirp down to help him.
There was a rumbling, that got louder and louder, and he saw a montser charging towards them.
Oh no...... he thought in horror.
There was a screech,m and everything went black.
He woke up to seee a large cat standing over him.
"Get up" he growled to Coal.
"Who are you?" Coal asked.
"None of your buisness!" The cat spat.
"Well, if your here and standing over me, why am I here with you also? Cause if you hate me so much, you wouldn't be standing so close to me." Coal retorted, having an attitude of his own.
The cat lightened up.
"Mrow-ow-ow" he said, laughing. "Got a little, attitude there, eh?" he said, smiling.
"You sevre a greater purpose Coal, you have to walk with cats who can't see you." he said.
Coal just shook his head no.
"Secrets to unfold, that only you would know, You could walk in cats dreams, Coal!" He exclaimed.

*A black tom slunk into Thornstar's den. His amber eyes flashing in anger. He spotted Birchkit and smirked.*

Birchkit(Adderkit) ran up to Bramblepaw, he leapt high and landed akwardly on Bramblepaw's back, he began to claw him feircly tearing up clawfuls of fur in his rage he lunged for Bramblepaw's neck

*Bramblepaw smirked, and rolled over, squishing Birchkit. He went onto his hind legs and crashed down on Birchkit.*

*Icycurrent sighed, and took a step towards Rosepaw, then stopped himself.*

Birchkit managed to squirm free, realizing he was right below Bramblepaw's neck he lunged at his neck and bit down on it

*Bramblepaw arched his back, making his neck go straight against his chest. He felt Birchkit's teeth in his throat, but he lashed out with his paw, claws unsheathed, knocking Birchkit away. He leaped forward and sliced his claws down Birchkit's side, then leaped away. He lashed his tail, his eyes shooting to Thornstar. Thornstar nodded.*
Good job Bramblepaw, you are done here.
*Bramblepaw nodded, and padded out of the den, clawing Birchkit one last time.*

"Why did I have to be like this?!?!" Coal yowled.
"They could've still been alive! I still could've helped them!" he looked down his eyes filled with sorrow.
"Even if they didn't get hit by that monster, they could never survive by themselves! Especially Swift....." he said, tearing at the ground, which actual claw marks were scoring through it.
He looked down at the ground, which he couldn't see through his paws. He blinked, and then he could see through them again, and Coal let out an angry yowl of frustration and Dispare.

*Thornstar snarled and lunged at Birchkit. He pinned him down angrily.*

*Thornstar snarled into Birchkit's face, then stepped off.*

BlackClan, we have a new apprentice amongst us! He is from lakeClan, but soon, he will be us, after a few punishments... He was known as Birchkit, but now he shall be known as Adderkit! He is 3 moons old, so he shall become an apprentice!
Adderkit, you shall prove yourself as an apprentice, to see if you can make it to be a warrior of BlackClan! You are known as Adderpaw now.
*Thornstar smiled evilly down at Birchkit, and continued.*
I shall mentor him, to keep an eye on him. Also, Bramblepaw, our best apprentice, shall be a warrior now!
Bramblepaw, you have proved yourself greatly, and you shall now be known as Brambletalon!
*Thornstar nodded, and leaped down. Brambletalon smiled and padded past Birchkit to the warriors den, snarling at Birchkit as he went.*

Maplekit looked confused. Birchkit hadn't come back yet. She padded over to Gazestripe "Have you seen Birchkit?" she asked

Rosepaw looked at Icycurrent, and took a slow step towards him. Suddenly a spark flashed in her eyes. "Why does it have to be this way? Our Clans hate each other, we're in different Clans, I'm a medicine cat and you're a deputy. I hate it! I just hate it! When I fist saw you.... it was the battle when Dreamstar attacked because your Clan killed seven cats, including my sister, Minnowkit, and I was looking for a cat named Everlight who had your pelt, and when you turned around... I totally freaked out at first, then something else happened. The feeling stopped. My heart skipped a beat. Then it started to flutter around, and when you seem like you don't like me, my heart sinks in my chest. Whenever I'm not with you, my heart is with you, but not where it should be with medicine like Nestpaw's is. I shouldn't be doing this, I shouldn't love the BlackCLan deputy, but I do, and it's not fair." Rosepaw cried, and ended with a sigh. "It's just not." She sighed.
*Icycurrent's eyes widened, and he felt a purr rumble at his throat. Was he really purring? When was the last time he purred? Has he even EVER purred?*
Rosepaw... I feel the same way. It's not fair. I don't want to be in BlackClan anymore, if it means hurting your clan. But if I try to leave, Thornstar WILL kill me. Or if he finds me in LakeClan, he'll still kill me.

*He snarled and padded over to where a small patrol was. There were three toms and one she-cat. They were all fidgeting, and waiting for Birchkit to come.*

*Finchkit slunk into camp with Sparrowkit following. Finchkit was carrying a mouse and a fish. Her pelt was wet, but she didn't mind. Sparrowkit was proudly carrying a sparrow(lol) and a water vole. They saw Dreamstar and ran over to her.*
Look Dreamstar! We got prey!
*Dreamstar looked at the kits.*
Sparrowkit, Finchkit. You aren't supposed to go outside of camp until you're an apprentice! You will be in 3 moons! Now go to the Nursery, and please stay there. First, put your prey on the fresh-kill pile. I am very proud that you were able to catch prey, but you must listen to the rules.
*Finchkit nodded, her tail drooping. She sighed and put her prey on the fresh-kill pile. Sparrowkit did the same. he went into the Nursery. Finchkit stopped and looked around.*

Do you know a cat in LakeClan called "Eagleheart"?? And I'm Hawkfang. And that's Falconclaw, my brother. Eagleheart is our mother, but like we care. She's a kitty-pet, like you!
*Hawkfang snarled and spat. Falconclaw nodded.*

How is she? She used to be leader here ya know. We did have a brother name Birdkit. Never did know what happened to him. It was rumored that he was killed, because he was too soft. But then we use to have two other cats. Hazelstep and Heatherbreeze. They were mates, exiled for being soft. Hazelstep took him away, and it is thought that Hazelstep killed him. But we soon heard that Hazelstep and Heatherbreeze had joined LakeClan, with Birdkit. We heard that Birdkit grew up there, and got the name Birdwing. So we're just curious.

Birchkit sighed "I wasn't in LakeClan long enough to really get to know cats. But I think he might be dead,"

We might as well just hunt. He's no where. Spread out and hunt, Hawkfang, stay with Adderpaw. Falconclaw, Snakeleap, Wolftooth, and Fallenfrost, spread out.
*Snakeleap, a black tom with white feet, Wolftooth, a gray tom with white ears and tail, Falconclaw, a tortoiseshell tom, and Fallenfrost, a white she-cat with black paws, all nodded, and slunk away to hunt. Brambletalon nodded, his amber eyes cold, and his black pelt glinting. He too slunk away. Hawkfang sighed, he had a tortoiseshell pelt too.*
Left with the kitty-pet of course...
*He mumbled*

Birchkit crouhed low and scented a mouse he stalked it. Not perfectly but jumped onto the mouse killing it with a bite

Rosepaw shuffled her paws. "Stupid Thornstar... was it different when Eagleheart was leading? She left the Clan... you could, too. But everyone would think it was suspicious if the BlackClan deputy joined for no reason. But if I ever... you know, my brother and sister will think whos they are and Moonpaw won't leave me alone till I do. If you joined, I would have to stay far away from you. Everyone knows how I acted in the battle. Everyone knows I hate BlackClan, except for you. I ran away in the middle of it because I hated you guys so much. And..." Rosepaw sighed. She purred, and nuzzled up next to Icycurrent. "I guess I don't hate it anymore so mcuh, do I?"
*Icycurrent smiled.*
I'll stay in BlackClan, and keep an eye on Birchkit. I guess I'll... spy... on BlackClan, and tell you if anything is happening. I want to meet here, everyday. Maybe just before Moon-High?

*Thornstar saw Brambletalon, Fallenfrost, Falconclaw, and Wolftooth pad back in. Their mouths full of prey. He nodded to them, and shortly after he saw Hawkfang pad in, with Birchkit not far behind. He padded up to Birchkit.*
Adderpaw, get some rest right now. You're getting up early tomorrow.
*Thornstar growled*

(oooooh! What if it does? Like, IF dey have kit(s), and Rosepaw (then dawn) is telling Icycurrent, and then Thornstar walks in JUST as he's telling and.... DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN)
Rosepaw lookedat him, and gave a small nod. Her eyes started to space out again, and then came back. "I can't believe I'm doing this." Rosepaw purred.
(BETTER IDEA! What if Icycurrent is off talkin to Rose, and at that moment Thornstar is making apprentices and he's like 'Darkpaw, your mentor will be Icycurrent. Icycurrent, pleas- WHERE IS ICYCURRENT?" and then he goes and looks for him and sees Rosepaw (then Rosedawn) and Icycurrent, and hes wondering what they r doing so he hides in a bush. Here it is when it happens (not right now lol):
Rosedawn shuffled her paws. Her face turned hot, and she looked up at Icycurrent. His icy blue eyes were questioning. "I'm having kits. Your kits." Rosedawn whispered. *Thornstar leaps out of the bushes, landing in the middle of Icycurrent. They both gasped, and Rosedawn quickly stepped to her side of the border. Her belly was already getting big.*
DUN DUN DUNNNNNN of course if its kk with u, mayb Icy could get killed by Thorn right in front of Rose's eyes after he came out after he was eavesdropping.
(NO! I AM SOOOO NOT KILLING ICY! BUT IT WILL.... Wait. Ya. He'll die.... *smiles evilly. :) MAYBE. Her is what I was thinking-
When Thornstar jumps out, he "kills" Icycurrent, but he's NOT ACTUALLY DEAD! It just SEEMS like that.

Icycurrent dies, and he ends up in StarClan, but they let him come back!

Frostypaw paced urgently. She wanted to see Falcon. She ran out of camp and found him sleeping at the place they usually met. He lifted his head and purred "Why hello!"
"Why are you always here?" she asked
"Well this is my new den, OFF of LakeClan territory of course, but see that little gap through the bushes! Thats my den the twoleg nest had too many sad memories. And this nest is closer to yours.
Frostypaw forced a purr out of her throat.
"Whats wrong?" he asked
"Birchkit was stolen by BlackClan I have no idea where he is!" Frostypaw sobbed
Falcon pressed himslef against her cofortingly "If anyone can fid him, you can!"
~Falcon/Frostypaw
*Dreamstar winced and padded up to Rippleblaze. She purred.*
The kits will be coming any day now.
*She smiled.*

*Icycurrent smiled*
Doing what? Meeting me?

"Yeah. Poor Birchkit..." Rosepaw meowed, and her tail started to droop a little.
*Icycurrent's eyes softened.*
Don't worry. I'll watch him.

Frostypaw collasped with grief "He is such a smart little kit! I dont know what BlackClan will do with him!
~Frostypaw

"I know you will, but still Thornstar might kill him... If he does, will you tell me?" Rosepaw begged.
*Icycurrent nodded.*
Do not worry. I will. I shall bring his body to you, for your clan to mourn.

"Well, that's all I got...... it's not like I have the wisdom of starclan" Coal says, looking at his paws.

"Thornstar would find you!" Rosepaw teased. She paused. "I only feel this way around you. Everywhere else I'm Rosepaw, the anxious second medicine cat apprentice of LakeClan... not Rosepaw, the silly, funny, teasing medicine cat apprentice of LakeClan who loves the BlackCLan deputy. I bet I'm one of the only ones who can call you silly!" Rosepaw purred. Her heart sunk when she said 'medicine cat.'
