Peace

*Dreamstar waded into the lake, her paws tingling with contentment. She sighed with happiness. The water felt soothing on her scars, and it just felt good to be in water. LakeClan cats were born for the water. Their extremely webbed paws, and special fur, lungs, and eyes, all helped in the water. Dreamstar waded in farther until her feet weren't touching the smooth sand. She kicked out her strong, long legs, and swam freely. She flicked her tail slightly, and suddenly she was going the other way. She smiled wide. It felt so great. She hadn't been able to go swimming for a long time. There were too many things to worry about, but she felt so relaxed now. She closed her eyes, and steadily swam. When she opened her eyes, she saw Rippleblaze wade into the water. MarshClan's cats legs are much shorter then LakeClan cat's legs. Well, all cat's legs are shorter then LakeClan's. MarchClan's specialty was more shallow swamps then deep lakes. Dreamstar smiled, and swam away from him, enjoying the ripples of water around her. Their new battle moves would be great... no clan, even if the clan can fight in water, can match LakeClan's skills. LakeClan was the clan of the water. Of the deep lakes, and shallow marshes. Dreamstar purred, and took a big breath of air, and dived down, her eyes closed as she went. When she was under, she opened her eyes, seeing all the underwater life. Everything was clear, just like on land. She spun under the water, and dived down as deep as she could, before jetting to the surface. Her body flew into the air, and landed with a large splash, soaking Rippleblaze, and sending up under the surface. He came back up, sputtering and spitting out water. Dreamstar smiled, and padded over to him, nuzzling him. She then saw some apprentices practicing water maneuvers together. This would be good. Water was their home, and they would not lose.*

Win

*Dreamstar padded in with her warriors behind her, and some of MarshClan. She leaped onto the LakeRock, her shoulder still heavily bleeding where Dewstar had ripped at it.*

We have won the fight! But I must thank MarshClan for helping us. Rippleblaze acted smartly, and got them. Many of our warriors were worn down, though we would had won anyways. All cats who have any wounds, please go to Nestflame, and Jayflight who will be helping him.

*Dreamstar then saw Grayshadow dragging the lifeless tortoiseshell pelt. Dreamstar winced.*

Reedpond was the only one killed, though there are a few who may be close.

*Dreamstar watched as Finchpaw, Sparrowpaw, and Birchstorm helped support Maplepaw, their sister. She was seriously injoured, and needed immediate medical attention. Jayflight and Nestflame were getting herbs ready, and jayflight went to help Maplepaw. Dreamstar nodded.*

Also, I went extra training, and we will be trying new battle tactics. They will most likely be attacking again, but after they heal. I want two patrols on the border with CloverClan at all times. If you spot them, then send one cat back. We will send our clan outide the camp, well all who can fight. We will lead them to the water... where we fight best.

*Dreamstar snarled. The water was their strength.*

I want apprentices and warriors to learn new battle moves in water, but that can be used on land.

*Dreamstar nodded with determination, and padded over to Quiverstar. She knew that fighting was hurting her clan, but Dewstar attacked first. She didn't want to fight, but she had to defend herself. *

*dreamstar leaped onto the LakeRock.*

We have won, though the battle is not over! We are going to attack them, right now, to prove they will not the the better of us! Any cats with serious battle wounds, stay behind, everyone else who is fit to go, come with me!

*Dreamstar snarled, and ran out the entrance, some cats looked confused, but dewstar had made an offense of Dreamstar at the Gathering. They were fighting for their leader. They raced after her to CloverClan.*

Coming Back from the Gathering

*Dreamstar padded into the camp, her fur a little messy. She nodded to the clan, who padded out of their dens sleepily. She leaped onto the LakeRock.*

The Gathering was not too good! Dewstar was saying... stuff about how I had no say in whether apprentices should be able to have kits! She said cause I broke the warrior code by taking Rippleblaze, when he was leader, as a mate! We fought, with teeth and claws, and words, then she left. Now, go back to sleep, and we'll speak about this more in the morning!

*Dreamstar nodded.*

*Then, a rush of cats poured through the entrance. The scent wasn't BlackClan's, and it wasn't that recognizable. Then, a battle broke out, and Dreamstar faintly recognized the smell of CloverClan....*

*Dreamstar nodded, and leaped off of the LakeRock, and padded out of the camp, her warriors following. Dreamstar passed Prairiefall, Coastpebble and Stormbreak as she left. She smiled and nodded. She had noticed that Coastpebble looked bigger. Kits... Dreamstar smiled, and padded to the Gathering.*

Positions, Wake, The New kits

*Wake yawned. She hadn't seen Mark-kit for a few moons. They were the same age, and she was getting larger. Rain was steadily falling outside, and Wake felt lonesome. Then she saw a cat stand in front of the entrance to the hollow tree. Then she heard a squeak. She smiled as mark-kit padded in.*

hey! Sorry, I tried to come before... then I was attacked!

*He smiled, and Wake smiled back.*

:~~Wake, Mark-kit:

*Sunnykit looked around. She saw  that Mistykit and Mossykit were talking to a black and white cat, Nestflame, and that he looked a little suspicious. She ran over, and let her eyes fill with sadness as she thought of her parents. Then she took in a breath, preparing ti say a fake story about how they got to LakeClan.*

Our mother, Riverpebble, and our father, Redwing, were killed. We come from BlackClan, bu our mother and father are from CinderClan. They were apprentices at the time, and loved each other secretly. Then they were stolen by BlackClan. Riverpebble was forced to have kits, but luckily the leader of BlackClan let her mate be Redwing. Her kits were always killed by BlackClan, because they were too "weak" when they were apprentices. Before we were going to be tested by the leader, our father was killed. Riverpebble told us to run, run for our lives. She told us to run here. because we could be safe here. We were worried for her, but she made us. As we were running, we heard her yowl in pain as she died. So, then we got here...

*Sunnykit looked at the ground, hoping Nestflame believed it. To her, it sounded pretty realistic.*

*Dreamstar leaped up onto the LakeRock, her pelt dripping wet.*

LakeClan, please gather!

*cats padded out of their dens, grumbling.*

I am sorry to have made you come out in this weather, but life must go on, rain or no rain! We are having a warrior and an apprentice ceremony!

Another Life

*Dreamstar staggered onto the LakeRock. Rippleblaze had just left to find Grayshadow.*

Cats of LakeClan! As you all know, Silverfang came wanting to talk... sh-she attacked me and Rippleblaze, and took one of my lives! Then she ran off for an unknown reason. Also, Everlight has had three kits-

She-cats- Arcingkit, Daykit
Tom- Shadowedkit

And Frostysky has also had 4 kits-

She-cats-Rushkit, Berrykit, Wrenkit
Toms- Owlkit

We congratulate them on healthy kits! The father of Frostysky's kits was a loner, so he was outside the code, and she was lucky that all her kits lived! Her mate, Falcon, wishes to join, so he can be with his mate and kits, and we welcome him! We have many new members also, though too many too name!

Rosepaw is still missing, and we must accept that she is dead. It has been a few moons, and though our hope has been strong, our searching shall be no more. Nestflame is a very good medicine cat, and when he feels ready, he can take on an apprentice!

*Dreamstar nodded and excited and sorrowful murmurs broke out.*

Now, I shall be treated for my wounds, Nestflame.

*She smiled at the young tom, and jumped off of the LakeRock, padding over to him.*

Truth?

(Okay, if you all go to the Leader's Den, something is happening there.... but anyways. PRETEND this isn't happening right at this moment. I meant to post this a few days ago... so PRETEND this is like, 7 days ago.... ;) )

*Grayshadow brought her paw over her face. She looked up, and saw Fallownose padding over to her. She smiled at the queen, and nodded a welcome. Fallownose smiled, and sat down.*

Grayshadow, I just have a question... I bet a few others have thought this too. You dont have to answer it if you don't feel comfortable... but...

*grayshadow smiled.*

Just ask already.

*Fallownose sighed.*

Why did you become mates with Adder? You two are so different. You're one of the nicest cats I have ever met, and Adder... though he's my brother, is one of the meanest. He didn't even care when Cedarpelt, his own brother, died... or when I had kits.

*Fallownoze sighed, but Grayshadow just purred.*

I know. It's odd, I guess you could say. But... I love him, and he loves me. He really is sweet. You jut have to get on his good side. We go together well. he cares about me, he always has.

*She smiled sweetly.*

I know I can depend on him. He can depend on me. Other tom's, well all the tom's in LakeClan are dependable, but I never took interest in them. Adder, he stood out. He likes to remember the past, though lives in the future. He not scared to get hurt, or defend his clanmates. He's loyal and brave. Everything I could have asked for. We just, go together well. He's upset. He still is about his whole family. He thinks you abandoned the bond they had when you took on a warrior name. He wants to keep his families memory alive, by staying loyal to his birth name. That's why I like him. He's loyal to his family, and cares about his family.

*Grayshadow smiled warmly.*

*Fallownose nodded slowly.*

Ya. But I still can't see you with him.

*Her eyes shone with amusement. She smiled, then padded away, leaving Grayshadow with her thoughts.*

No one will ever understand how I feel about Adder.

*Grayshadow's head turns to the entrance as Adder walks in from a patrol, she smiles, and pads over to him, purring.*

New Deputy??

*Dreamstar leaps onto the LakeRock, and calls the clan together.*

Rowanthorn has told me that he wishes to step down as deputy! Though, I do not fully agree, I shall accept his decision! This means that we must get a new deputy!

I say these words before before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve my choice! The new deputy of LakeClan shall be Sorrelheart!

*Dreamstar smiles at Sorrelheart, and the clan starts to cheer.*
