Everlight! I am your leader, and that's enough! Let's go! Eat some prey first, then gather around the entrance. Rowanthorn, take care of the camp while we're gone!
*Dreamstar leaped down and bounded to the newly stocked fresh-kill pile.*

Leafsong bounded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a plump vole. She gulped it down, then ran over to the entrance where Dreamstar was waiting for the the rest of the cats to arrive.
"I'm ready Dreamstar. I believe we can take them."

Rosepaw stuck close to Skypaw and Rainpaw, hoping she would eventually see them again.
Frostypaw growled with excitement She was going to evenge Honeypaw and Leopardpaw, she ran over to the fresh kill pile and picked out a plump fish. Determination gleamed in her eyes as she began to eat. Thinking of all the battle moves she knew in her head. Suddenly she forgot something Maplekit! She and Maplekit had become almost as close as family she had to say goodbye in case... Frostypaw knew she might not make it out of the battle, BlackCLan WAS a very strong enemy. She ran over to the half destroyed nursery and licked the sleeping Maplekit's fur along with her siblings "Goodbye..." she whispered "I hope I make it back," she mewed her voice choking. (Hmmmm, will Frostypaw be a warrior by the time Maplekit, Finchkit, Birchkit and Sparrowkit are made apprentices?)

Nestpaw gulped loudly "Listen to the Bluesky..." his mother whispered in his ears. But he shook his head, there was nothing he could do! Dreamstar was the LEADER. But he HAD to say goodbye to the kits first. He knew how close Frostypaw was to little Maplekit and how devestated Maplekit would be if Frostypaw died. He padded over to the nursery to find Frostypaw there she looked scared. He pressed his nose to each of the kits fur before looking at her "whats wrong?" he asked his sister

"I-i don't know if we will make it out of this battle," she mewed

"I'm sure you'll be fine," he mewed but his heart was skipping, he didn't know what to do "Listen to the Bluesky!" Robinsparrow purred as her scent wrapped around both of them
"Come on lets eat," he purred

Rosepaw quickly slipped away to say good-bye to Maplekit and Birchkit. She and Frostypaw spent lots of time in the nursery with the kits, and she would hate to not say good-bye.

Rainpaw went to Frostypaw. "Are you ready?" Rainpaw murmured.

Gazestripe flexed her claws. Even if the battle should'nt happen, she was still chosen to go, and would fight for her clan.
She padded up to nestpaw.
"What are we going to do/" she hissed through clenched teeth.

*Everlight growled silently. This was not right. She sighed, and went to eat. If she wanted to stop this, she might as well be full.*

*Bluegaze didn't know for sure if the battle would happen. He went to the Nursery. Like Frostypaw, he had grown close to one of the kits. He heard paws thudding towards him, then smack into his chest. he purred, as he heard the familiar squeak.*
Hi Finchkit. Just coming to say bye. I'm going to battle...
*Bluegaze didn't say anymore. he didn't want to scare the small she-kit.*

*Finchkit looked at Bluegaze in confusion.*

*Bluegaze shook his head. Finchkit sighed.*
Fine... I'll see you after wards then! Byee!
*With that, Finchkit ran off to find Sparrowkit.*

Nestpaw looked at Gazestripe "I have no idea," he mewed hopeless

Rosepaw padded up to Frostypaw. "I'll sure miss them if I don't come back. I'll be right back, I need to talk to Bluegaze and Everlight." Rosepaw meowed. She ran to Bluegaze. "Bluegaze! We need to stop Dreamstar! HOw?" Rosepaw asked.
*Bluegaze jumped. he turned to the sound of Rosepaw's voice, and shrugged*
We may live protecting our clan, or we may not live.

Nestpaw looked in awe at Gazestripe "You know, thats only Me, you Bluegaze and Everlight," he mewed and continued to leap in and out of the medicine cat den KNOWING there were going to be injuries but NO deaths if he could help it

Leafsong practiced some battling moves as she prepared for battle. I wonder how tough these cats really are. She thought to herself.

Heatherleaf took Orangepaw aside and told her to be the bravest she cold be. "You need to be strong and fight great. I know you can do great things. You just need to believe you can do it."

Frostypaw nods to Rosepaw "You and my brother NEED to work so no cats die, please!" she pleaded looking at Maplekit "I-i want to be there for Maplekit, and Sparrowkit, And Finchkit and Birchkit i love them ALL SO MUCH i need to live!" she mewed and then looked to Rainpaw "As ready as I'll ever be," she sighed almost purring but it stuck in her throat she padded over to Dreamstar
