RETREAT!
*Dreamstar stumbled into the roaring BlackClan camp with Rippleblaze beside her She saw lifeless bodies lying on the ground. She saw some of LakeClan also. Her heart lurched. She had seen Reedpond in the makeshift medicine cat den. Reedpond was stiff with shock, and staring at the lifeless body of Ashfang. he had died fighting, the way he had wanted to. Dreamstar mustered up the strength to yowl. Dreamstar's yowl rang through the clearing, and instantly LakeClan cats leaped away from their enemies. They started to run out, some stopping to grab the scruff of their last clanmates. She saw 5 cats get dragged by. Smokesun, Cedarpelt, Rainwing, Hailfall, and Willowblossom. The apprentices who helped Nestpaw and Rosepaw would go and help bring Ashfang back. 6 deaths... for what? For a battle they didn't win? Dreamstar lost a life also. 7 worthless deaths... Dreamstar saw Thornstar, he looked weak, obviously he lost more then one life. At lkeast two or three. She saw the look on the BlackClan cats. Triumphant. They didn't care of any of their clanmates had died, they had just won the battle. Dreamstar saw Everlight and Bluegaze walk by. Everlight shot Dreamstar a look of pure hatred for leading them into this battle. Dreamstar sighed, and quicly ran away as Thornstar snarled triumphantly and lunged at her.*

Frostypaw was dragging herself out of the battlesight suddenly a light brown tabby pelt caught her eye, was BlackClan following them? She spun around quietly, and followed the direction the tabby pelt had gone, Suddenly a tom shot out at past her he was running across the feild "Hey WAIT!" she yowled persuing the tom. he looked back at her and caught her eye, she stopped in her tracks "Meet me here at Sunhigh tommorow," he whispered and ran away. Frostypaw walked back to her clan a dazed look in her eyes

Nestpaw smells Breezepaw scent along with blood, he ran over to her and put all the herbs he had at hand (or paw) or her, he picked up her scruff and began to drag her along, this cat wasn't going to die, if HE could help it

Gazedawn was dragging herself back to camp, blood pouring from her neck.
'I don't need help from a medince cat' sje thought.
'I can help myself!' she thought rtrumphanly, but her thoughts were swimming.
Suddenly, she fell, and everything turned back.
She woke up to see her mother Standing over her.
"I'm sorry..." Tawnyheart mumered, and Grief filled her gaze.
Gazedawn nodded. "I understand." was all she said.

Breezepaw suddenly woke up, and Tore free of Nestpaw's grasp automatically. Shaking her self off, her eles sparkled. The blood on her neck was already drying.
"So starclan let me live just once again after, eh?" she asked.
She looked over her shoulder and gasped.
"Gazedawn!" she told Nestpaw.

Nestpaw looked back and rushed to Gazedawn "Sh-she's dead," me mewed shakily "Will you please help me bring her back?" he asked Breezepaw

*stared in grief at Cherrypaw's body and realized she was alive. he ran to his sister*
"Someone help her! Shes barely alive!"
*he crouched by his sister worried*
Nestpaw dropped Gazedawn to the ground gently and ran over to Cherrypaw and put some cobwebs, goldenrod and a few healing poultices on her. "There, that should do it!" he mewed his eyes showing no uncertainty at all
~*Cherrypaw*~
*coughed up weakly*
~*Mousepaw*~
*groomed his sister*
"Okay." she said, her eyes filled with grief. She somehow felt.. lighted. She blinked, wincing from her scarred eye andn picking up Gazedawn by the scruff.

Gazestripe was Plodding along next to Nestpaw, sad that lives were wasted.
"I'm sorry......" Gazedawn whispered.
"It's Okay." she said back. "I will miss you though. I am sorry you had to die. But now you are at peace." Gazestripe said solemly.
"A warrior is honored to die for her clan." Gazedawn said, Plodding along with Gazestripe, stars Sparkling her fur.

Tears welled up in Gazestripes eyes, thinking that if only Gazedawn were really there.
"If only...." she mumered.
"What's done is done." Gazedawn replied. "It was my time." she added.

*he sees Newkit watching*
"Newkit go back to your mother!"
~*Newkit*~
*he nodded eyes wide with fear and ran off*
Nestpaw looked sadly at Gazedawn "I could have saved you," he whispered

*Frostypaw runs into a tree*
~Frostypaw
*Rippleblaze bounded over to frostypaw.*
You did great in the battle, even thought we didn't win!

Frostypaw! *he looked at her with concern in his eyes* Are you okay?!
(sry I meant ALMOST ran into a tree lol)
Frostypaw purred "Well I have a great mentor!" Her mind was off the brown tabby tom for a second
She looked at Nestpaw, her eyes shining.
"Not even you could change a cats destiny that isn't the paws of Starclan." she Meowed.

It's not all me, you fixed up the moves. You did great anyways.

*he sighed sadly and went back to grooming his sister*
Nestpaw nodded "I understand," he sighed, "I guess I could't of prevented Ashfang's death either,"

Frostypaw smilied remembering the feeling in her paws when she had done moves, not evwn Rippleblaze had taught her

*Rippleblaze purred, then nodded, and padded back to Dreamstar.*

*Oceanwing runs to Tigerlily who is still trapped in the bush* Tigerlily *she shrieks and quickly works on freeing her sister, she helps support Tigerlily and they stumble from the camp and back to Lakeclan*

*looked at the ground and realized his sister was either asleep or dead. he waited and heard her breatheing and sighed in relief*
Frostypaw's thoughts drifted back to the tom, who was he, should she meet him at sunhigh, she would! she needed answers

Suddenly she heard laughing in her ears.
"YOu think dying is ok, isn't it?" she heard a sinister voice in her ear.
"How would you like to be lost in only memories?" the vopice asked, and suddenly Gazestripe could see through her paws.
She was transparent. The cats were too busy to notice her dissapearance, and they couldn't see her....
(Nestpaw probably can see her and maybe Everlight too lol)

*stared at Frostypaw trying to read her facial expressions but couldnt*

*breathed deeply in her sleep*
*Everlight pads beside Bluegaze. She had felt another life go. 7 lives, 8 with Dreamstar's. What a waste. Everlight looked up to see a flash, but no one else seemed to see it. Then she saw Gazestripe. Gazestripe was partly faded, like she was in StarClan, but there were no stars in her pelt...*

*he layed his muzzle on his sisters flank*
*Tigerlily with support from Oceanwing padded slowly* I.. want... to... help... *she gasped but her paw caught on a stone and she crumpled, Oceanwing nudges Tigerlily back to her paws but Tigerlily is now limping heavily*
Nestpaw looked at Gazestripe "Wh-what is happening?" he asked
You can't Tigerlily, you need help, *Oceanwing looks at her sister and Tigerlily sighs*
Fine... Oceanwing, you win, I'll... go back to camp... *she winced as a cat brushed up against her pelt*
~*Mousepaw*~
*he looked up at Dreamstar*
"We lost, didnt we?"
*he looked back to his sister, then to Dreamstar and Rippleblaze*
"We lost so many cats....... maybe Cherrypaw......"
*his eyes cloud with pain and grief*
*Dreamstar looked at Mosuepaw.*
Yes... we lost...
*Dreamstar looked away*

*he sighed deeply*
"That stupied Wolfpaw did this to her..... and I killed his brother in revenge......... his sister Briarpaw escaped too....."
Somehow, Gazestripe wasn't fazing, like it had haddend to her before. (it hasn't though) She wasn't going to let this Dark Forest cat get to her.
"I don't know" she simple said to NEstpaw. hen she sighed. "I just don't know..." she added.
'What ever you throw at me I shall conquer' she thought truimpant.
"Death will kill Death, Life will live Life, Six will be Six, and One will come" Gazedawn whispered in her ear.
'I am chosen!' she yelled in her mind.

Nestpaw looked worried but continued to walk

"I killed him......."
*he stared at Flamepaw's lifeless body*
*Everlight narrowed her eyes at Gazestripe. She closed her eyes, and sent spirit out. She toppled over as the energy surrounding Gazestripe pushed her spirit away*

*he sat in the nursery with his family and watched the camp sadly*
Nestpaw looked at Everlight then at Bluegaze questioning, wondering if verligt had trid to use one o her powers

* a sickening feeling passed through his and he felt his claws and muscles on fire*
*Bluegaze continued to walk. He searched through cats memories as he walked. Seeing who they fought, and what they saw. He sighed in disbelief. What waste.*

*she and Honeykit looked around the camp and sighed sadly. the ran back in leaveing Crowkit alone to walk through the bodies*

Gazedawn came up to Bluegaze.
"They died in for there clan" she simply whispered to Bluegaze, and Grief was in the Starclan cat's eyes.

*Bluegaze's thoughts flashed from one cat to another. he saw Nestpaw trying to save Ashfang, but couldn't. He let his mind keep wandering. He saw frostypaw talking to someone. Bluegaze was about to look into another cats memories, but then stopped and stayed on Frostypaw's memory of this tom. He was defiantly NOT from LakeClan. They were talking, and Bluegaze could faintly hear it. The only word he heard was Sun-high. Bluegaze grunted, and let his mind go blank.*

*Bluegaze heard Gazedanw whisper, and sighed sadly.*

*he sighed deeply wondering why he never got a mate anywhere*
"no she cat likes me..."

"If only Starclan could turn back time..." she trailed back.
"I might've helped Lakeclan more. Maybe.. we could've won.." she pondered.
But shook it off.
"There was too many of them..."

Frostypaw sees Bluegaze looking at her "What?" she asked a little defensivly

*he padded out of camp and clawed a small tree down*
"I HATE LOVE!"
*he ran through the forest sliceing leaves and bark*
*Bluegaze sighs and nodded to the voice of Gazedawn. he heard frostypaw snap at him, and he jumped slightly. he realzied he must have been looking at her, because his mind was still wonderin gwho that tom was.*

"I don't know!" she mewed truthfully
Gazestripe padded around, still confused. Cats were passing through her like air.
"Am I dead?" she asked no one.

*he stalked away madly leaving deep marks in Honeykit's fur*

* a fox leaped in front of her and she screeched*

"HONEYKIT!!!"
*he dashed towards her voice, and leaped at the fox. he landed squarely and nipped its neck so it dropped Honeykit. then he leaped up, slithered under it, and ripped its belly open. he pushed it over, and it was dead*

*shook with terror*
"I don't have to tell you anything!" Frostypaw huffed speeding ahead

"Come on, lets go back."

*he lifted her up onto his back, and walked home slightly limping and covered in blood*
*Bluegaze shot his mind out at Frostypaw, and followed her.*
Why don't you? What's happening at Sun-high? If it's so important, why don't you tell the whole clan?

*they enter camp, both bloody, mostly Mousepaw, and he layed her gently down by Cherrypaw so she could sleep. he looked at her tiny and fragile body and knew they needed each other. he layed by her and licked his fur clean*
Breezepaw looked over her shoulder at Frostypaw, who was Bristling at Bluegaze.
"What are you two talking about back there?" she asked, Annoyed.
"I HOPE it's abut the battle" she snorted to herself.

*he gently licked Honeykit's fur clean also, and curled around her to warm her. he fell asleep slowly*

*hs eyes darkened with pain as he dreamt about Frostypaw. He was running away from her with a brown tabby tom, and their kits. he fell down into a hole where Hineykit, a queen, was with kits. he woke up before the father was revealed*

*he looked at all of the bodies, from wide scared eyes, and when he saw his foster sister Honeykit with mousepaw, he was ready to die of confusion. How had the cats died? When were Honeykit and Mousepaw in love? Why was another clan's cat dead in HIS camp?*
"I hope this isn't permanate" Gazestripe said, still padding with the rest of the cats.
"It will, if you don't learn your lesson first!" The Dark Forest cat snarled.
"What Did I do wrong?" She cried.

*she woke up to see Mousepaw and Honeykit curled up beside her. she blinked and looked around*
*Everlight watched Gazestripe, and tried again. This time she heard a snarl, and she heard a cat say-
It will, if you don't learn your lesson first!
Then, she was pushed away again.*

*she croaked weakly and dryly needing water badly*
"You think your one of starclan's choosen. Your sooooo specail!" The Dark Forest cat snarled.
"It wasn't her fault!" Gazedawn snarled, standing up for Gazestripe.
"Starclan choose her for a reason! And one reason only! And it's none of your buisness!" she swiped a paw a the cat.
Gazestripe crouched defensively.

Frostypaw looked at Bluegaze "I'm not planning anything against LakeClan, if thats what you think!" she hissed at him

*she coughed*
*Bluegaze laughed quietly.*
I would never think that with your loyalty. Just what's happening at Sun-high?

Because, I'll find out one way or another. Either you tell me, or I go digging through some things.... and I think you'd like the first way better.

Frostypaw sighed "Fine, not that big of a deal, he asked me to meet him and I was curios why so I'm coming!" Frostypaw mewed not saying she thought the tom was handsome

Do you like this tom? I don't care if you do, or if you don't.
*Bluegaze shrugged.*

Frostypaw didn't answer just sped up, her fur hot
Breezepaw snorted, knowing Bluegaze and frostypaw were still talking, but she didn't know what about.
"Those two are chatting more than a nest full of startlings!" she snorted to herself.

*Bluegaze chuckled to himself, and continued to walk on. frostypaw was acting obvious. Even though he couldn't see. Bluegaze laughed again*

As soon as Frostypaw got bak into camp sh ran to th nursery and went up to Maplekit "Hi!" she purred

Maplekit wakes up and sees Frostypw and jumps on her "Frostypaw!" she purred "Birchkit, Frostypaw is back!" she yowled

Birchkit wakes up and jumps on Frostypaw too "We were all worried! We heard warriors saying none of the cats would make it out alive!"

Frostypaw looked at the ground "Some cats didn't," she mumbled

Maplekit looked down at the ground in mourning

Birchkit looked like he was going to cry

"Come on it's late," Frostypaw mumbled wrapping around the kits and falling asleep

The Next day at sunhigh frostypaw sunck away, if anyone asked her where she was going she would simply say "Hunting, we need some prey now after that awful battle!" After she was out of camp she ran over to where the tom had asked her to meet him, to find him waiting for her. He purred as she saw her and she couldn't help purring too. "I knew you'd come!" he mewed.
"Why did you ask me to come?" Frostypaw asked quietly
the tom shuffled his paws "Because you're the most beautiful she-cat i've ever seen,"
Frostypaw shuffled her paws she thought the tom was VERY handsome, but this was against the warrior code. But if it was wrong, why did this make her happy? "Who are you?" she asked the tom
"I'm Falcon!" the tom purred "Who are you?"
"I'm Frostypaw!" Frostypaw mewed
"Interesting name, where did you get it?" Falcon asked
"My clan gave it to me!" Frostypaw smiled
"I've heard of Clans, you were going back from the battle with that wful clan when I talked to you!" Falcon mewed pointing his tail toward the direstion of BlackClan territory. Frostypaw smiled "Yea, they are awful," she mewed looking at a long scar on her back. Falcon licked her ear. "You were great at fightig, you're brave and strong and beautiful, i guess thats what i like so much about you," Falcon mewed quietly
Frostypaw looked to the ground abd realized something "You're kind, and sweet gentle, maybe thats why I like you so much," she mumbled. Falcon smiled and purred he put his tail arouund her shoudlers an they began to talk more
(Falcon will EVENTUALLY join the Clan, if dreamstar will let him)

Nestpaw watched his sister in the bushes, he was just about to jump out and tell her she was crazy when his mother appreared in front of him, her usually sparkling eyes feirce "Do not intervene my son, this is her destiny! You of al cats should understand!" she growled and dissapeared. Nestpaw looked at Frostypaw, her eyes were glistening with pure happiness and joy. If that made her that happy could it really be wrong

Frostypaw purrs and licks Falcon's ear "Goodbye," she purred "I'll se you tommorow at Dusk,"
Falcon purred "Goodbye," snd ran back to his loner den Frostypw watched him go sadly, then realized she needed to get some fresh-kill, she quickly hunted a sparrow, caught fish and a mouse and padded back into camp

*Dreamstar saw frostypaw come in. She was carrying prey, but it seemed a little small considering that prey was everywhere. deramstar got up and padded over to her.*
Where did you go hunting? Or where did you go?

Frostypaw thought fast
"I went hunting near the BlackClan border to make sure none of them had crossed into our territory after the battle, and all the fighting last night scared the prey so i could only find these," Frostypaw smiled
~Frostypaw
*Dreamstar narrowed her eyes.*
Why would you go to the BlackClan border by yourself? You know it's dangerous! Scarheart was killed by the BlackClan border!

I wans't REALLY close to the border, if they crossed the border, they wouldn't have been able to see me

Falcon couldn't wait to see Frostypaw again so he stepped across the border, and began to follow her scent but found her talking to another, much bigger, cat, he froze where he was

*Dreamstar narrowed her eyes at Frostypaw.*
Still, you shouldn't have gone alone! Without telling anyone about it! Clean the elder's bedding for 7 sun-rises, by yourself. Bring the elders food, for 7 sun-rises and check them for ticks for one moon.
*Dreamstar nodded. Dreamstar looked up to see a young tabby tom She narrowed her eyes.*

Frostypaw's eyes widen, not at her punishment, at Falcon "GO!" she mouthed to him, WITHOUT dreamstar seeing

Falcon turn around ad runs knowing he had gotten Frostypaw in a lot of trouble

*Dreamstar narrowed her eyes at the tom, then turned to Frostypaw.*

Frostypaw looks down almost crying "No going out of camp at all?" she asked tears silently rolling down her cheeks

Falcon wonders if Frostypaw would ever see him again, he missed her gleaming white fur, and sparking blue eyes

*Dreamstar sighed, and padded past Frostypaw.*
It's only fair. You chose your actions, and they were pretty bad. I got into some trouble when I was an apprentice too. Do you know who that tom was?

Frostypaw couldn't lie to her leader, bt what could she do Frostypaw looks at the ground "i don't know yet," she mumbled

*Dreamstar looked at Frostypaw in confusion.*
What do you mean by "yet"? Are you going to know him? Because he is defiantly not from any clan I know of...
*Dreamstar narrowed her eyes.*

"he's not from a clan he's just a-a loner," Frostypaw mumbled
*dreamstar felt a growl rise to her throat*

He didn't smell like any clan
Frostypaw mumbled the tears falling faster
*dreamstar narrowed her eyes.*
I could have known that. But he could have been a rouge?? You know what, don't tell me. I'll just be suspicious. Tell me when you're ready too.
*With that, dreamstar padded to her den.*

Frostypaw looked at Dreamstar in outrage "Well, I could have said that too, but I don't think he was hunting ANYTHiNG he just accidently stumbled onto the terrtory, rougues just LOOK tougher he probably lives in a farm with toms of mice," Frostypaw mewed and silently added, he told me that, he did
*Dreamstar ignored Frostypaw's outburst, and simply shot back.*

Rosepaw went to Dreamstar's den. "Dreamstar?" Rosepaw meowed into the den unhappily. "H-have you seen Skypaw (she's dead hehe)??"
"If you knew you would you actually have someone you love, and you CAN love," Frostypaw mewed quietly so Dreamstar could hear

Frostypaw stalked off 'I guess the leader dosn'r care," she whimpered to herself

"Now I feel defeated." she mumered, head down.

What about me? I broke the warrior code. Rippleblaze used to be Ripplestar of MarshClan. I had his kits, but StarClan allowed it. But they killed all of my kits except Fellpaw. I won't mind that much. Except we would have another queen take care of them. because we need you.

Suddenly the Dark Forest cat appreared right in front of her.
She snarled, and leaped onto him.

"Well, that tom you saw His name is Falcon, I-i wasn't at the BlackCLan border when I came in with the fresh-kill, I was with him," Frostypaw looked down

Nestpaw nodded, he looked like he didn't get much sleep and he was about ready to fall over. "It's okay," he mewed

Gazestripe snarled and but the Darkforest cat's shoulder.
They broke apart, Teeth bared at each other.
He then smiled. "What was that fur/" he asked, brushing myself off.
"For makeing me Transparent!" she replied indignatly.
"C'mon. You HAVE to admit it was fun!" he said, messing around.
"Yeah.... kinda like it," she asaid, passing through one of the alive cats, and Laughed.

Rosepaw gently licked Nestpaw and got some fresh-kill, and decided to skip the talking with Rainpaw. She was tired, too. She went back into her den and put a water vole next to Nestpaw. She ate one, and fell asleep.
*Dreamstar smiled.*

Frostypaw looked embarassed and padded out of the den her head down

"So what's your name?" Gaazestripe asked the cat.
"Let me tell you this, I'm not from the dark forest. Nor am I from starclan." he said.
"So then where are you from?" she asked.
"Ehhh, you've never heard of it, it's rom a long way away." he said causally.
Gazestripe tilted her head, confused about the strange cat. Then she thought of something.
"I'm Coal." he said Changing the subjects.

Rosepaw drifted into her dream. She awoke in the same lush forest as when she became a medicine cat apprentice. This time only Skypaw, Minnowkit, Pebbleflower, and her unknown father sat there. Rosepaw looked at her paws in shame. "You did well." the tom meowed. "My name is Ashtail. I am your father." Ashtail meowed. Rosepaw shook her head. "I didn't do well, I just deserted Nestpaw. We could've saved Ashfang, Gazedawn, and,, you." Rosepaw meowed, looking at Skypaw. "It was our destinies, nothing could've saved us." Skypaw reassured. "Sure." Rosepaw muttered, turning away from Ashtail and Skypaw. "What do you think?" Rosepaw spat and her sister and mother. "The same thing." Minnowkit squeaked. Rosepaw growled, and looked at h=them. "YEAH, RIGHT!" Rosepaw yowled unhappily. She awoke with someone standing over her.
--IN NURSERY--
*Fallownose gasped for breath, and yowled. Jayflight ran in with Rosepaw and Nestpaw following. Fallownose closed her eyes and panted. She heard Jayflight murmur to her.*
Eat this it will help.
*Fallownose nodded slightly, and ate the sour leaves. Fallownose gasped and grunted in pain as a kit came out. It was still born. She felt Jayflight feeling her side.*
Nestpaw, Rosepaw. You can feel the kits. She has five more. Try.
*While they felt, Jayflight cleaned the still born kit.*

Gazestripe Watched from outside, with coal right beside her.

*Fallownose gasped, as another kit came. Jayflight quickly licked the kit, and put it beside Fallownose. it started to mew. Fallownose felt a spasm run through her body as another kit came.*

*Fallownose groaned as another kit came(two more kits). Then, the next one came shortly after(one more). Fallownose panted with effort, and got the last kit out. This kit was also still born. Jayflight licked all the living kits.*

4 out of six. But the other two seem perfectly healthy... they are full grown, and look as healthy as the living ones...

T-the brown tabby she-kit with the white chest is Cloudykit...

The gray tabby tom will be Shadykit.

"Well, StarClan told me of her destiny," Nestpaw mewed remembering his mother talking to him, telling him that being Falcon's mate was her destiny and that she would be guiding her pawsteps, and how he had finally met his father, Blacknight, who had died before he and Frostypaw were born

"that is good..." she mumered. "I miss cats being able to see me." she said longingly.

"Well, ALL the cats." she snorted.
"But I'm glad that at least you can see me." she added quikly.
