Visit

*Fellkit stood up. He was bored, but everyone was asleep. For some reason he couldn't sleep. Fellkit sighed and walked into the clearing. It was very cold, and snow was starting to drift down. Fellkit sneezed as a snowflake hit his nose. Fellkit ran to the center. He heard Missingfoot going to patrol around camp. Then Fellkit heard another sound, like another cat. Fellkit stopped and crouched down. He then saw a cat dart into the camp. Fellkit was about to yowl when a tail was slapped across his mouth. He looked up to see an unfamiliar face, but he recognized it. Fellkit's eyes widened as he remembered that one cold, snowy night, when he was born. This cat was his father. Fellkit sat down, suddenly calm. It felt like he had known this cat forever. But for only one night. His father sat down to, but quickly led him to some shadows as Missingfoot appeared in the entrance once more.

"Fellkit. I needed to see my kit. Dreamstar wasn't at the gathering."

His father shook his head as tears clouded his vision.

"What's your name? I don't remember much, but I do remember, and know, you."

His father's eyes brightened and he purred.

"My name is Ripplestar. You are forbidden to even be alive, but some how....you are supposed to be here. It's...it's painful to be away from you and Dreamstar. It's weird to lead a clan without a mate at your side. Yes. I have taken a "friend". But, it's not the same. My deputy was just killed in battle too."

Ripplestar looked down at Fellkit to see that he understand nothing of what he was saying.

"I just wish I could talk at a better time, with Dreamstar too."

------------------------------

Dreamstar watched from the entrance of the nursery as Ripplestar talked to Fellkit. Dreamstar smiled and fought herself to not walk over there. Dreamstar waited for Fellkit to come back, but that would be a while from now...

(I will post about what Dreamstar said to Flint later!)
